Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical 12 GA 18.5" Barrel 3"-Chamber 7-Rounds Optics Ready

I have numerous mossberg shotguns and have never been disappointed. I have also had numerous highly regarded brand name semi auto shotguns. The 930 and 940 line are among the best in the mossberg line in my opinion. The 940 being the best. I have owned both. If you want a highly dependable shotgun with an excellent warranty, buy this one. You will not regret it. Don’t take my word for it, do a little research.

Fired five rounds before shells wouldn't eject. Had to push out shell with rod. Expected better quality from mossberg and anything endorsed by jerry miculek.

Very manageable kick, never pinches, not a single jam. Excellent gun with two exceptions yet to be corrected. 1) capacity advertised as 7+1 but mine is strictly 4+1. Need to contact Mossberg. 2) a little play between the plastic fore-end and tube ring, just enough to be irksome.

Charging handle seems to be A little loose,this could be normal . The quality of the plastic grip and stock could be improved. Would like to see an option for a cheek riser pad. The M lock. Have already ran about 100 shells of 00 buck and slug through it without issue. There was some 7 1/2 bird that caused an issue seizing up in the chamber. The back of the casings were very short and not brass. They were made by federal but I don’t know why they were doing it.

The 940 Pro tactical shotgun is awesome! I fit it with the Holosun 507k red dot and it is reliable and accurate. The 940 is very easy to use right out of the box. I highly recommend getting the 940. The only place I could find one in stock, was at guns.com.

The service was great, and it was delivered in three days. I added a Holosun 507K so it is what I wanted.

I’m going to pick it up on Sunday. If it’s anything like the 930 I had, then I’m sure I’m in for some problem free fun. The only Shotgun I’ll ever buy

I like this shotgun. Has not jammed on me yet after 30 rounds of target. I like the rubber on the butt for comfort.

Overall, the shotgun is bad to the bone shots great. The only issue I have with it is the front site optic is crooked on the barrel. And when you spend over a thousand plus dollars on a shotgun you would expect more. Especially a shotgun made by Mossberg.

This thing here will eat anything you put in it. Cylces awesomely. Matter of fact I'm getting the full size 940 pro bc of thos gun right here.
