Mossberg Maverick 88 Security Flat Dark Earth 12 GA 20" Barrel 7-Rounds

Perfect defense shotgun. It's a simple tool without a bunch of unnecessary bells and whistles. Functions perfectly. I'm really pleased with the meat for the money. It's spot on.

For the price you can not beat the Maverick 88. Identical to the mossberg 500 except for the type of safety. I’ve owned the maverick 88 all purpose for 8 years now and have put over 1,000 rounds with zero issues. Bought this with the thought of being a home defense gun and except the same reliability. For those on a budget this is the a great option ( I would Argue the only option for the price and quality). Budget or not this is a hidden gem from mossberg and will stand up to any pump shotgun.

Easy to customize! At first the over all color wasn't what I wanted,but after some research I found the right custom accessory furniture that fit my needs.

Runs flawless so far. Patterns well with #4 buckshot and 00 buckshot. Going to get it CERAKOTED to protect from rust, since it's just blued from factory. Can't complain.

I absolutely love my 88, 5 stars across the board. The price point on this is great considering what you get. American made Mossberg and TOUGH as nails, I bet my life on IT. DON'T believe me just check out the torture test on this shotty in the YOUTUBE review uploaded.

Exactly what it is said to be. Cheap and reliable. One thing I like is that most shotguns at this price are relegated to 5 in the tube. I like having the extra 2 rounds.

Great shotgun . I can only speak to 2 range trips. But I ran a variety and knock holes point of aim . 10 and 15 yards. The fde is just like a rattle can job . Wears fast . But no biggie. Mine is just as it's reputation

ive been looking for a good shotgun but this price is plum crazy a brand new one is cheaper then this used one how is this even fesable

Bought this weapon to replace a 20 gauge bird gun I was using as home protection. The Maverick 18.5 inch barrel with a pistol grip is just perfect for home protection. It is really light and racks quite easily so my wife can handle it too! I just wish this shotgun was a little sturdier but it’s inexpensive after all and that being said it’s a great firearm.
