MOSSBERG PATRIOT

First of all, my brother has the ruger American. I Bought this as a utility rifle to suit the needs of OHIO deer law. It was $129 less then the ruger American and it was the cheapest.450 to be had. Finally had a chance to sight this rifle in . Very impressed , took 4 shots last 2 touching at 100 yds. Greatcgun for the money.

Absolutely love this rifle! Very accurate, very little recoil and is a Absolute deer dropping machine. I'm going to have to buy another because my son also loves it. Only reason for 4 stars is the plastic magazine, if you try to run the action to fast it sometimes doesn't feed well but I can live with it being I've never had to take a follow up shot with it in the 4+ years I've had it.

I love my Mossberg. Buuuuuuuut!!!! I do not have it in my possession. You see, I am still waiting on my background check like the rest of gun purchasers in Oregon! It's a long story so I won't bore you. However, Sportsman's Warehouse has no control over it. Rules are rules. On a lighter note. I was able to hold it in my hands for a couple of minutes, and it felt nice.

Picked up this patriot in 450 bushmaster from the Lansing location. Gerald behind the counter is knowledgeable and friendly. All the paperwork was handled quickly and I was out the door with my new rifle in 20 minutes. Gun shoots great. Tried a couple different ammo brands and found that it loves 250 grain Hornady FTX's. Holds 1 inch or less groups at 100 yards.

I got this in 450 bushmaster. I shoot 1/2" groups at 100 yds all day long till the shoulder can't take it not more. The factory loads was just not doing it for me so I reload and this is what I get at 100 yds shot 2 bucks both down on spot of inpack I love not having to walk. I love the rifle an u can make it a better rifle if u reload for it. Thank u an happy hunting or just shooting

Looks good and shoots well. Trigger seems ok for a hunting rifle. Overall is a bit light in weight allowing more felt recoil. I suggest adding a muzzle brake to help keep the barrel down and reduce the recoil a bit. Quality is good.
