I’ve had my .410 for a several years now. It’s been 100% reliable and a pleasure to shoot. The finish is holding up well and it still looks like new. What more can you ask for?

I've had my 410 gold trigger for 25 years now, still just as reliable as the day I took it out of the box.

Very Good Gun For The Money I have the Mossberg 500 FLEX pump shotgun 12 gauge Mossy Oak, and I'm VERY satisfied with it. It's an extremely tough shotgun, a real workhorse. It has the Mossberg tang-mounted safety that I prefer as this was my first firearm and I am used to this design than the ones on the trigger guard, the optics make it better for me to be quicker on target acquisition, the open loading port makes for easier access to the magazine and reloading. The shotgun dismantles for cleaning with ease, but pay attention so it goes back together just as easy. It's noticeably lighter, and it has dual action bars and dual extractors, the factory recoil pad is really great, and the porting on the barrel makes for lower felt recoil and less muzzle jump for faster follow-up shots. I have owned this for several years now and have put at least 10,000 rounds through it. It is still going strong! The tooless key system make it really easy to swap out the conventional but stock for a more tactical one. 5 0ut of 5!

Exactly what I expected. Took it trap shooting the day after I got it. Shot 50 rounds through it with no issues. Great quality for the price!

Fit and finish of the butt stock is god awful. Way too much material left on the left side where it meets the receiver. I bet there is a full 8-10mm of overlap beyond the edge of the receiver. I will be pulling the wood off and refinishing and refitting it properly. I don't expect that price point to be super grade or anything but CNC technology being what it is should guarantee even a budget piece of wood is milled to a consistant tolerance.

Nice shotgun, this is my first, so nothing to compare it to, but seems to be well built, and works as advertised.

Nice gun. Looks gun, shoots well. Got it mostly for Diggers that are tearing up my yard. I'm used to getting handguns 2 day air so when this took over a week I was a little bummed but that went away pretty quick. Great price.

Excellent value in a wood stocked .410. Very happy with the quality and price. Now i just want ammo available so i can bust clays for a day not just an hour.

Really looking forward to trying out my new Mossberg 500 .410 pump action shotgun once I can get my hands on some ammunition. The action isn't as smooth as my Winchester but for the price it should be fine. If I scratch this one I'm not going to be too upset about it. It's a tool, after all.

This gun fits the bill if you want a basic shotgun and dont want to worry about it getting banged up in the truck or the boat or the field... You get the point. At first I was put off because its not made with real wood. Its made od a plasticy material that looks like wood. But for the price, I'm good with it. Its a no-frills shotgun at affordable price.

Instant favorite! I picked up an aftermarket, shorter, cylinder bore barrel for home defense loads that I'm working up. Great patterns with slugs buckshot and larger pellets (BB). When I want to shoot at clays and birds, I will simply switch back to the original barrel. Almost bought a .410 shockwave (still might) but wanted to have the option of more practical application, as well. Works well and won't bust the budget.

I've only put about 200 rounds through this 410 shotgun so far, but I love shooting it! It patterns great at 7-25 yards, and I can kill tin cans at 40 yards using 2.5 inch #7.5 shot. Defensive ammo (PDX1 Defender, Winchester 00 and 000buck all 2.5inch shells) destroys cans at 40 yards as well. I haven't had a chance to shoot anything up close with defensive ammo but this shotgun performs great and was an excellent purchase. Note it's not drilled and tapped for a rail adapter so if you want to convert it to HD and add a red dot or other optics you'll need to get that done separately.

Love these little Mossberg .410’s shotguns. This is our second one and I’m sure it will just as reliable as the first.

Wood + steel = real shotgun. Simple and effective. Very solid construction, smooth action and well balanced. Very smooth rolling recoil. Tested rounds - 2 ³/4 #s 6, 4, 00 and high brass 00, Critical Defense, 3in slugs; no issues with any. The shot pattern has a slight elongation at 15+ yards providing a unique benefit to critical target coverage.

I have been waiting to get this gun for a couple of years. As soon as I’m cleared to receive it, I will use this fall.

For my purpose this is the best value on the market for a .410 gauge shotgun. Smooth and accurate delivers as promised. Guns.com was easy to use and searched local and couldn’t find.

I've shot a lot of pump guns in the past 70 years, and enjoy shooting them on the skeet range. The Mossberg 500 functions fine, and I hit targets with it, however it has a stiffer action than I'm accustomed to. Rather than my typical "wrist flick" I've used for years, this gun requires a more positive "slam slam" action. It's not really a shortcom...Read More Read more about review stating Stiff action

It's a tried and true shotgun. Works when it's supposed to. Recoil ain't squat with the buttstock pad that comes on it.
