1 year agoOverall a decent gun, a notch below the 500 series in quality possibly but nothing too noticeable. Would definitely recommend it as an everyday shooter for target practice etc especially for shorter adults or kids which is why I bought this

1 year agoThis is a nice simple shotgun. It was a good purchase! The stock is a smidge short for a full grown man but it works for what I want it to work for.

1 year agoVery simIlar to mossberg 500. DiffeRences are subtle. Over solid shotgun and would recommend. Purchased for hd. On the product Description it listed the product capacity at 5+1. This shOtgun is 4+1

1 year agoThis is more or less a compact version. It has a shortened stock and barrel. Has nice double bead setup. Holds 5 shells plus one in the chamber. I liked the fact that it shoots 3-inch magnum.

1 year agoOverall the gun is excellent, the only downside is the "plug" is just a wooden dowel which probably doesn't matter and makes it easy to replace if ever lost however it is not cut to the correct length. Out of the box with the plug in I can fit 0 rounds in the magazine. So I'll have to trim the plug myself to make the gun compliant for hunting fowl but that shouldn't be too difficult to do, just disappointing.

1 year agoWell built gun. Haven’t gotten to shoot it yet, but it’s a Mossberg so I’m sure it fires well. They’re pressing me for a review so here it is.

1 year agoIt is a great gun and as a result I am considering purchasing a mossberg 500 or 590 in the near future

1 year agoCame nicely packed. It was very stiff to operate. The internal action parts were heavily blued and rough. Lightly polished the bolt carrier and cartridge lifter made a big difference. I'm sure shooting it would have the same effect. Nice finish on the gun. Recoil pad is surprisingly good.

1 year agoIt would’ve been five stars but it didn’t mention anything about having the compact stock until the day I went to pick it up. Seems to cycle and function I was supposed to. The machining isn’t the most beautiful but it’s definitely a work course.

1 year agoDespite what SW says above, under Spec's, this gun will NOT hold 5 3" shells in tube. Only holds 4. I bought it for in-home defense so am disappointed in that. Otherwise, I find it to be handy and lightweight. Just need to find a pistol grip now.

1 year agoGreat gun for the price. Bought 2, one for each of my twins. Good first shotgun than has aftermarket support.

1 year agoGreat gun for the price. Have ran a number of rounds through it with no jams or issues. Easy to clean and use.

1 year agoI owned a Maverick 12 guage years ago and loved that gun. Got this 20 guage for a beginner / home defense gun, it's a 20 guage at a supremely fair price, good capacity, great Mossberg quality, can't miss.

1 year agoWhat can I say…it’s a Mossberg! Got this to shoot ground squirrels in the back 40. If this doesn’t put a dent in population then it’s time for the rodentinator (not sure on spelling but it is a real device). I’ve shot rifled slugs, #2 & #4 buckshot, and cheap target rounds with zero jams. It’s not a showpiece but it is reliable…great gun.
