The PSAK-47 GF3 was designed from the ground up to be a new standard in AK-47 rifles, utilizing all new precision manufactured parts. Thoroughly tested in development, we tortured tested to 10,000 rounds to ensure a quality product. Not to be satisfied with just a good AK-47, we kept improving and now are proud to announce our PSAK-47 Gen3 Hammer Forged (GF3) rifle with a hammer forged bolt, carrier, and front trunnion.
The 4150 barrel is nitride treated for accuracy and durability and is pressed into a new hammer forged front trunnion to ensure the longevity AK-47s are known for. The hardened steel 1mm receiver features a mil-spec style single hook trigger, and side rail mount. The front trunnion and bolt carrier are engraved with GF3 to designate the GF3 hammer forged model. The rifle is finished with a Magpul polymer handguard, Magpul Zhukov stock, and Magpul AK-47 polymer grip; Rifle ships with 30 round magazine (where allowed by law).

2 years agoGreat gun....the iron sights are really hard to use if the lighting isn’t right, but it is a rifle. inside your home for home defense you’re not precision shooting where the iron sight is that relevant anyway. This is a beast if you and the neighbors are defending your neighborhood. Inside 100 yards without optics for large targets you can’t beat a quality built AK-47 like this. Folding Zhukov stock is excellent.

2 years agoLooks great. Fires crap ammo great. Throw on a suppressor and feed it quality subsonic, and you may run into problems. Also, stick to MOE magazines, and stay clear of Magpul GEN3 magazines. It makes a difference with this firearm. Had an issue with the bolt staying open after every trigger pull. This happened after about 160 rounds. PSA was nice enough to have me ship the firearm to them to inspect/repair as needed. Despite some unusual wear on the bolt carrier and bolt, they sent it

2 years agoGreat value for the money. 0 malfunctions through 500 rounds. No complaints. Really enjoying it so far.

2 years agoAwesome weapon that appears to be reliable and well made. I have put about 500 rounds through it without any issues.

2 years agoGreat gun. Haven't had any issues with this since I got it. Only put maybe a thousand rounds through it but not one hiccup.

2 years agoAbsolutely love it!!! I was iffy on the gray being to light but it is a perfect shade of gray. I can’t wait to shoot this beauty. Shipping was quick in easy (took exactly a week to come in).

1 year agoPurchased this about 1.5 years ago. Solid rifle. I added the PSA tank brake, (polished the stock trigger faces), added a midwest Ind side rail and a Romeo5. Eventually I got a psa ALG trigger for it and its a pleasure to shoot. Zero stops at my current unimpressive round count of 500, and it loves any mag I use from magpul to cheap steel mags. No wear on trunion or internals that isnt normal for my current round count and again zero issues. Once I zeroed it, it slaps steel at 100 standing like

1 year ago...so decided to get it. Ran reliably after 100 rounds of steel cased ammo. Don't the fact that the stock moves a bit when you pull it hard into the shoulder with it extended (magpul to blame). Rifle works well with metal and polymer mags. Holds either snug in place. Palmetto keeps finding ways to take my money.

1 year agoGREAT gun gun for a Great price. The only issue is when you're firing the gun with the stock folded the bolt mechanism eats into the butt. This could cause a problem. It needs to fold away from bolt carrier. Other than that not one issue. I WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND PSA AND I'LL MOST DEFINITELY BE BACK TO BUY MORE PSA FIREARMS. I also bought a 9mm PSA Dager and a PSA 300 blackout for a very GREAT PRICE.

1 year agoSmooth as melted butter!! Beautiful rifle. Almost no recoil. Definitely worth the price. Highly recommend

1 year agoTalk about butter smooth! The build quality and smoothness of the safety and action are the best I have ever felt on an AK. Even with no break in this thing impressed me! Couldn’t be happier!

1 year agoEverything about this gun is slick, fit, finish , knaws a hole at 25 yards. But the most surprising thing is the trigger. For an ak it is premium . As smooth as anything I have ever run across in a stock trigger on anything I have ever shot, wow.

1 year agoShot ever time l'd pulled the trigger. No issues with the PAS AK-47. One thing, I didn't know about it was, the bolt stays open half cocked. Which is not a bad thing when you're at the range and range workers wants to see if it's clear. I made a mistake buying a safety bolt hold open before it came in.

1 year agoSide by side comparisons with a Soviet block AK of a $1200 price point makes me wonder why go anywhere else. Rifle has a couple hundred rounds total and has functioned perfectly on any ammo I throw at it. The other rifle had a few failure to chamber with the bolt locked to the rear. Both rifles on interchangeable PMAGs. Smooth firing, and my girlfriend says it’s now her favorite to shoot. Time to paint and find an optic, love this gun, fantastic quality and an even better price to match. Couldn’t be more pleased.

1 year agoI love my AK! Added a Strike Industries J-Comp brake and Oppressor blast shield(not in pic) as well as the PSA Picatinny Dust Cover with a Fairfield scope. Eats Global Ordinance steel with no issues.

1 year agoVery nice AK…smooth/crisp trigger, safety is smooth and easy to engage/ disengage. Nice having a side mount and folding stock. Solid AK. You won’t be disappointed.

1 year agoAwesome AK. I threw a Midwest Industries side mount and Romeo5 on it as soon as it came in. Furniture is nice and build quality is top notch. Trigger is smooth and safety is easy to engage/disengage. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

1 year agoReally nice AK. I’ve owned 2 prior AK rifles ( a POS I.O. AK and a Saiga). I’ve also have experience with various other AKs while serving in the marines in the Middle East. The fit and finish is incredible and the Magpul furniture is awesome. I’ve added a AK master mount, psa tank break, Magpul sling, Sig Romeo red dot, Soviet Arms extended charging handle. For the price and warranty, you can’t go wrong with this AKM.

1 year agoThis is my first AK and I LOVE IT. I out a Midwest mount and a vortex SF 2 sight and the thing is a joy to shoot

1 year agoBought this when they were running a deal in which you get ten magpul mags. I got nine mags and some off brand that was extremely loose when inserted into the mag well. Palmetto sent me a magpul mag no questions asked. Then upon its first firing a screw in the stock came loose in which the stock started coming loose and separating from the rifle, called palmetto and they supposed to be sending replacement parts. Doesn’t appear to be too hard to fix. Still very happy with the rifle, flawless firing putting Russian steel through it despite the stock.
