PALMETTO STATE ARMORY PSAK-47 GF3

Have been through about 400 rounds so far with 1 or 2 jams but it is brand new. Great rifle out of the box. I purchased the PSA AK sighting tool to made adjustments. Out of the box the POI was a little bit R. and little bit high with respect to POA. Very easy to sight in at 25 yards. I am pretty impressed with the quality and finish for the price. Great value AK. If you want a really fun rifle to mix in your arsenal and don't want to spend 12-1500$ this is an awesome bet. If you shoot once or twice a month why spend more? I wouldn't hesitate to look for an AR 10 from 15 from PSA as well.

Picked up my today and I think they send me the blemished one, the stock have uneven gap from both side and there is some wear marks on it. Seen like their quality control are not the same anymore. Their prices goes up and quality is goes down.

AKs are known to be reliable, and not really picky. Well my gf3 using magpul mags (2 different ones) has a failure rate between 10 and 15 percent (multiple styles of failures at that). But the magazine fit is perfect in the magwell. I have yet to get a jam while using a magazine from US palm, but they fit wayyy to tight, like i have to beat it in. Its so tight, sometimes i think its locked in and it falls out after cycling 3 rounds. Havent tried steel or surplus mags as i dont have any. I wanted

Availability hunting was a challenge. Once purchased, it arrived within reasonable time frame - virtually no delays. It was my first AK47 rifle and it happened to be better than I expected. A few screws had to be tightened but that was not an issue for me. Surprisingly good stock trigger - feels crisp with very short reset. Been waiting for this gun to return for months. Actually wanted the red wood but this is also nice. Only shot it once but it was fantastic. Love the light trigger. Seems like a great gun for the money!

Beautiful rifle and functions fine. It can be a bit finicky with mags, bolt sometimes gets stuck on top of the mag when mag is full but I'm sure I just need to break her in.

I’m about 500 rounds in and I can’t say enough good things about it! This thing is built like a tank. I had a pioneer ak and you could just feel how cheap it was. Not the case with this. I wanted to explore my options for a scope mount so I did my research and and went with the Midwest industries. Could not be a worse fit. You can tell with the naked eye that it is noticeably canted to the right at least 3/8” and then you put the scope on and it was so bad for me I didn’t even attempt to shoot

Can't be beat, really nice finish, solid construction, excellent wood. About 400rds in, and zero problems with everything from steel cased Tula to cast bullet handloads. I'm impressed!
