The EGX500 is part of our Precision Tactical series. Its construction and design are intended for elite and competitive shooters while still being an excellent option for entry-level enthusiasts. Its features are unique and designed specifically for the bullpup platform, rather than just using standard features adapted from full-length firearms.
The upper receiver is made from 7075 aluminum alloy for unmatched strength, durability, and a weight-to-stiffness ratio, along with a unique, reinforced polymer lower receiver that brings this shotgun to a comfortable 8.4 lb package that is only 30″ in length while keeping the optimal ballistics of an 18.5″ barrel.
The EGX500 uses a fire control group explicitly designed to address the shortcomings typically associated with bullpup shotguns.
The surprisingly short reset and clean break of our trigger make precision and accuracy easy to achieve, along with using an enlarged trigger guard for a wide range of hand sizes, grip styles, and while wearing gloves or not.
The most desired and unique feature of our Precision Tactical series is the ability to adjust the gas system “on the fly” with a simple push or pull of a button.
Now you can finally pick and choose what types and styles of ammunition you can cycle reliably, even while mixed in the same magazine.
The ambidextrous gas system button allows you to change from standard to heavy loads and back mid-shot with a simple button push. This allows consistently reliable cycling, far less felt recoil, and ease of accurate, repeat, and follow-up shots.
The included 3-piece choke set is the Benelli-mobil style to take advantage of the vast array of ammunition options, from slug, buckshot, and birdshot, that this shotgun is designed to run flawlessly on.
This platform has left- and right-handed shooters in mind with an ambidextrous charging handle, gas system button, and safety mechanism combined with an all-aluminum, right-side ejection port, and deflection shield.
The versatility of this system is truly revolutionary and is at home in any competition event, tactical situation, or for an exciting range/field day.

2 years agoGot my EGX500 and it performed perfectly right out of the box with no misfeeds. Simply read the owners manual and shoot the shotgun shells that fall within the specifications and you won't have any problems.

2 years agoI had an SDS BP12 which I loved, but it broke after about 650 rounds and it could not be fixed as no spare parts and it was out of warranty. PSA had this EXG500 on sale and it claims to have "improvements for competitive shooters". Since it used the same MK1919 magazines I took a chance. Clear improvements: captive take-down pins, externally adjustable two position gas regulator (old BP12 had no adjustments). Non-improvement, I don't like the AFG, YMMV, but the vertical from the broken BP12

1 year agoThis shotgun is really fun to shoot! Felt recoil is not as bad as you might expect. Had mine since before Christmas, and have run HV game load, 00-buck and slugs through it with no problems (per break-in instructions). Even shot a few clays with it! BEFORE SHOOTING completely disassemble the gun (very easy) per Panzer U-Tube video (https://youtu.be/8Fc8_lFpOJw) and lubricate every part completely. The gun does not come adequately lubricated out-of-the-box. **** the only issue I have had (which

1 year agoMy first impression was ( it’s heavier than I expected). But not terrible. I think that the weight helps with felt recoil. I was expecting to have cycling issues based on other models of the Panzer BP shotguns reviews. First trip to the range was expected to be frustrating, based on reviews of most other 12 gauge BP shotguns having break in periods, where they don’t cycle until going through about 30 rounds of high velocity shells. Happy to say that I did not experience any cycling problems at

1 year agoI did plenty of research and was skeptical at first because of all the negative reviews about “turkish shotguns” and “bullpup shotguns.” However, I went ahead and bought it over Black Friday and I am so happy I did. I recommend doing a full disassembly, cleaning, and lubing parts before taking to the range. I ran pheasant shot, 00 buck, and some slugs and everything worked flawlessly. This gun is an absolute blast to shoot.

1 year agoLove this gun! A great buy too! Just took it out for the first time and put 100 rounds of 1300 fps game load through it. FTE’d the first shot then worked flawlessly for the next 99! Very comfortable, well balanced and FUN! Comes with 2, 5-round mags, 3 chokes and a choke case and tool. Tear down and cleaning is different, but not difficult. Quality, fit and finish are excellent, far above what you’d expect at this price. Just ordered 2 of the 10-round mags because…well…because I can :-)

1 year agoI just got my new gun in record time. I took it out of the box and installed the sights. I loaded ten rounds of #8, 1 1/8 oz, 1290 fps rounds. Shot all ten rounds without any problem. I plan to shoot more rounds very soon. I have no doubt that this gun will shoot buckshot with ease. I only tried the #8 straight out of the box because folks replied that this gun can be picky on ammo. I shot the cheapest, lightest load that I had to try. I am very happy right now with my purchase.

1 year agoAfter wanting a bull pup for months now I finally decided on this Panzer because the price was right and the reviews were better than most. Mine was shipped in its box from the factory. The box was damaged and dirty, but the gun looked fine and worked perfectly right out of the box. I didn't even bother to clean it until after I shot it. Now I know it can perform in the dirtiest of conditions. Anyways good luck with yours and remember keep your finger off the trigger and practice, practice, practice.

1 year agoOut of the box shot two boxes of Ammo. 1350fps and 1310fps both on the LOW gas setting. Not one malfunction as all the ammo cycled perfectly. I picked up the 10 rd clip as well (don't forget to add it to your order). Excellent gun and I recommend it.

1 year agoCool Gun But it is Very Very Heavy. Also can not use the sights unless they are flipped up, cant get your eye down that low. Also Will not cycle anything less that 1400 fps rounds. It says it will cycle 1200fps but will not. Ill get something different next time. Looks cool but did I mention it is very heavy.

1 year agoI purchased my Panzer EGX500 the beginning of February. The day I picked it up at C & C Indoor Range, I went into their range and proceeded to run the rifle. On the Panzer 00 Buck at 1350 fps, it ran flawlessly on either pressure setting! After 15 or 20 of those, I began alternating the mag loading between the 1350 and 1125 low recoil loads. As I proceeded to go through these, I watched as it failed to cycle on the 1125's, to stove-piping, to lightly ejecting the lower pressure

1 year agoRan Great zero issue cycling 1350 fps rounds did the suggested 75 to 100 shells ran some 1200 fps just fine after. The plastic sights are kinda crap but they function and seem to hold zero so far.

1 year agoGreat right of the box, it cycled bird shot and 00 buck without any problems, most fun I had in a long time.

1 year agoDon’t sleep on this one… Get it now. I followed the recommended “break in” procedures. Shot 2 boxes of 1300 FPS loads had no cycling issues. Very happy with my purchase. Thank you PSA

1 year agoI was skeptical about buying this, but after reading the reviews and at the price point, I had to do it. I’ve had it a few months and runs a few hundred rounds through it. I can say it’s 100% worth it!!!! Read the manual and break in is CRITICAL. Once done just keep it clean and lubed and have a blast shooting this great shotgun!!!

1 year agoGreat fun Shotgun, added some gadgets and extended mags. Only thing I didn't like was rectified on newer versions there is only 1 place to mount a strap so only ca use a 1 point or connect your ends of a 2 point strap. Not a Major issue. Still haven't broken it in good yet because it destroyed my target pretty quickly.

1 year agoI couldn't be more pleased with my purchase of this impressive bullpup. Right out of the box I loaded Winchester 1325fps 00 buckshot. Had one FTF with the first 5 round mag. Ran another 60 rounds after that with both 5 & 10 rd mags, flawlessly. Not one more hiccup-! It's a tad bit heavy, but it's a blast to shoot with amazingly controlled recoil. Highly recommend for home protection...and loads of fun at the range.

1 year agoThis is my new favorite gun. It's such a blast to shoot, and is my go-to for home defense, loaded with 00 buck. It's not fully broken in yet, but cycles heavy loads perfectly. It still has a ways to go before it cycles light loads reliably, but I think it will get there. My only complaint about it is that it is basically impossible to add a light to it. The rails on either side are exactly where your hand go when gripping the fore-end. I removed the angled forehand grip and mounted a

1 year agoI've had zero malfunctions with this shot gun. The length of pull is slightly on the long side, but still workable. Not the lightest shotgun, but fun to shoot. nice that it comes with 3 chokes. If shooting slugs, only use the cylinder choke, but you probably know this already. Seems to be of good quality.
