The EGX500 is part of our Precision Tactical series. Its construction and design are intended for elite and competitive shooters while still being an excellent option for entry-level enthusiasts. Its features are unique and designed specifically for the bullpup platform, rather than just using standard features adapted from full-length firearms.
The upper receiver is made from 7075 aluminum alloy for unmatched strength, durability, and a weight-to-stiffness ratio, along with a unique, reinforced polymer lower receiver that brings this shotgun to a comfortable 8.4 lb package that is only 30″ in length while keeping the optimal ballistics of an 18.5″ barrel.
The EGX500 uses a fire control group explicitly designed to address the shortcomings typically associated with bullpup shotguns.
The surprisingly short reset and clean break of our trigger make precision and accuracy easy to achieve, along with using an enlarged trigger guard for a wide range of hand sizes, grip styles, and while wearing gloves or not.
The most desired and unique feature of our Precision Tactical series is the ability to adjust the gas system “on the fly” with a simple push or pull of a button.
Now you can finally pick and choose what types and styles of ammunition you can cycle reliably, even while mixed in the same magazine.
The ambidextrous gas system button allows you to change from standard to heavy loads and back mid-shot with a simple button push. This allows consistently reliable cycling, far less felt recoil, and ease of accurate, repeat, and follow-up shots.
The included 3-piece choke set is the Benelli-mobil style to take advantage of the vast array of ammunition options, from slug, buckshot, and birdshot, that this shotgun is designed to run flawlessly on.
This platform has left- and right-handed shooters in mind with an ambidextrous charging handle, gas system button, and safety mechanism combined with an all-aluminum, right-side ejection port, and deflection shield.
The versatility of this system is truly revolutionary and is at home in any competition event, tactical situation, or for an exciting range/field day.

1 year agoShoots great. Good light trigger, recoil much less than I expected. Things I've learned you might wanna know: The 10 round Panzer Arms magazine works fantastic I can't mount anything on the left side rail, because my thumb and palm rest there gripping the angled foregrip If I try to move my thumb back off the rail, the port where the gas block adjuster goes blasts my palm with powder (no burn, just turns black) The hole in the stock fits a flush cup QD mount - so far pretty … Read More

1 year agoThis gun is freaking awesome. I was skeptical because of the price but I am very happy with it. Right out of the box I loaded with slugs and buck and it performed flawlessly!!! Extremely accurate too! Usually out of stock so get one when you can

1 year agoPicked mine up today from my FFL. Took it straight to the range and ran 2 boxes of high brass 1.25 oz loads through it. It performed perfectly. Fit and finish really surprised me. Gun was tight and seems well put together. With those heavy loads the 12ga kick was ummm... noticeable. Trigger felt good for a shotgun. It wasn't awful, but after the first box I was about done for a while. Once it's broken in I will go to some low recoil loads and see if it cycles those well... for now that

1 year agoI bought this gun because it's ridiculous. That, it does very well. Fit looks decent, finish? Well, finish is pretty, and as mostly a wallhanger it will do what I want it to do. It's a little thin, though, and mars easily. Just putting the charging handle in got me a nice collection of gold flakes of whatever the finish is. Paint, I expect. Took a few good whacks with the base of a wooden hammer handle to get it seated. Hopefully, now the finish is gone, it'll come back out for cleaning

1 year agoI own a gen1 BP12 and I love it. So when I saw this one I had to get it. Yes they do have a break in process. But just be patient with it. It takes around 100 rounds to get it broke in. After that it will run anything except low recoil rounds ( which most semi auto shotguns won't run anyway). 5 stars for Panzer firearms. If you are thinking about getting one of these shotguns do it. They are definitely worth the money. Especially at these sale prices. (I got mine for $329.99.) Just clean it good and oil it, and work through the break-in procedure. You won't regret it.

1 year agoArrived quickly and on time to my FFL. Had some issue with the charging handle being too thick to insert into the bolt carrier but sanded it a small amount and resolved the issue. Not a fan of the plastic flip up sights. That being said it operates fine and makes loud noises. Zero issues with function.

1 year agoRuns great with zero issues. Took around 5 rounds of target load for it fully cycle and function properly. After that it ran flawlessly. Only issue was the charging handle was too thick and I had to file it down just a hair to get it to go in.
