this is my 3rd ak from palmetto ak-v and GF3 amazing aks, but holy crap talk about garbage quality control for a $924 rifle. This akp out of the box it could not charge without sizing up and stopping midway through the cycle with no mag inserted. still looked at the bright side found out it was the poor quality and machining on the dust cover and that the bolt had a lip that kept getting caught and jamming. filed it smooth and fixed not that "bad" for a $924 rifle. took it to the range couple

Customer Service Was Great! AKP is like the child you never knew you wanted. Shipping was great, the gun ran flawlessly. Unfortunately while at work my place burned down due to “unknown reasons” fire department says. All that is known is that it started from the apartment below. Was great but mine burned in a house fire, even got the trigger and hand guard for it. Shipping was amazing! House fire caused by the neighbor downstairs, exact cause “unknown” says my local fire department.

I sighted one of these in for a friend and ordered one as soon as I got home. Shoots better than any of the older model AK carbines I ever owned. Well made and fun to shoot. Owning this model is the reason I now have a AK-V also.

Picked up this firearm a week ago to replace yet another AR-15 that can't seem to perform without some sort of failure. I'm just telling my experience with AR-15's. Second PSA AK I have purchased and the second one dead out of the box. 1st on was a GF4 MOE and the firing pin was put in AFTER the roll pin. The AKP I just purchased will not chamber rounds. Tried all types of ammo and 10 different brand of mags. The round gets stuck between the chamber and the receiver. Im guessing its a headspace issue. PSA get your crap together.

I have a gen 3 PSA rifle and its.........ok........better after I installed an ALG EL trigger......and it works fine and is almost as accurate as many imported AKs.......use it as my "beater" AK......better than a WASR other than the great barrel the WASR has. As for this pistol I do wonder why PSA for this pricepoint didnt include a side mount scope rail. Nobody on earth has ever made a top cover mount that holds zero when the gun is really used.....and it would have cost what? An additional $8? C'mon, ya already cheapened out with the nitrided barrel at least install a scope rail.

Great rifle..... workmanship is outstanding and the gun so far shot very well! no issues .... all my Magazine will fit the rifle and for accuracy at 100 yds .... is pretty much typical of all AK rifle. 2.5" at 100 yds! good that we now have the Picatinny top cover that I mount a Romeo 5 dot scope on! I can still cowitness my irons on the rifle....

Shot it for the first time today at a 50-yard indoor range. Using a typical 3MOA red dot sight I was shooting 2-inch groups at 50-yards standing freehand (no rest). The trigger is surprisingly smooth (contributing to the accuracy), and the recoil is much lighter than I expected. I'm very impressed with the quality of the build. This is my first AK-variant from Palmetto, but it certainly won't be my last. Palmetto certainly did a great job with this one.

I have always been an AR guy this thing made me an AK guy. This thing is smoother With less recoil than my Sig 516 patrol, definitely worth adding to your arsenal

Spits fire every trigger pull. Very fun to shoot and cycled very well. Didn’t have any malfunctions though I haven’t shot it that much (about 100 rounds) so if I do get one I’ll try to update the review. Overall first impressions though, it’s compact, sturdy, and very tacticool.

As of right now, this guy is 5 stars. I haven't put extensive time using this firearm, but the way it's performing I'm once again impressed with PSA's build quality with AK's. i have only shot it once....and everything worked great no issues other than it doesn't take ALL mags...the magpul which cost a little more works fine...a metal Korean mag works well also....i have other mags besides those and only those 2 fit properly !!......i did read a lot of the reviews about this gun and it was very mixed !!...NOT to say those people might have had issues.....but mine worked really weel with only one time taking it to the range.....about 500 rounds...no issues....3 different kinds of ammo metal and steel.

Flawless function, like the enhanced safety , good trigger , accurate with a variety of ammunition, fit and finish superb and round count so far 450. What could be improved; better brake/ flash suppressor and larger oval magazine release

Whenever I buy a new gun, I always have a bit of buyer’s remorse once I get it home. Not with this one. This is an outstanding firearm. The components are top quality and the build is outstanding—especially for the price. Out of the box I was hitting 6” diameter targets at 100 yards with the iron sights. I’m seriously impressed. The buffer tube up top is tight so if you do a field strip, you’re going to have to really press down hard on the upper hand guard to get the lever back in place when reassembling. Other than that, damn near flawless.

I love my PSA - AK-P. I spent a long time researching and listening to product reviews before I bought this rifle. I have had no issues at all with my AK-P. It cycles as smooth as butter and throws every steel case I've put through it into a pile. I have not had a single malfunction with the gun through 500 rounds and I love the way it shoots. So far it is accurate, smooth, reliable and lots of fun to shoot. I'd buy another if I could! I like the Croatian mag more than a magpul. Also

Just got an opportunity to shoot this pistol and all I can say is wow! This thing is a beast and you cand definitely feel the power of the 7.62 round. What a great weapon.

This guy is 5 stars. The firearm cycled great out of the box. Need some alterations. Changed the trigger assembly and put in a ALG. Ergonomics is great. Recoil is high. To reduce a recoil used jmac muzzle and polymer buffer for a spring. So far shot more than 500 hundred rounds Tula, Norma, Belom no any misfire.

This pistol caught my eye, and thanks to my brother, I chose to buy it instead of a Kimber 1911. All I can say is, Thanks bro! I got to shoot for the first time today Defensive ranges 7, 10, and 17 yards. This pistol is ridiculously accurate! I’m new to this platform and at 7 yards all center mass hits. At 10 yards all head shot hits, at 18 yards all upper chest hits! I held it, pulled the trigger and the pistol dis it’s thing! I’d recommend this to anyone. If I can shoot it, anyone can.
