The PSA AK-P GF3 is designed from the ground up to be a new standard in AK-47 pistols, utilizing all new precision manufactured parts. Thoroughly tested in development, we tortured tested to 10,000 rounds to ensure a quality product. Not to be satisfied with just a good AK-47, we kept improving and now are proud to announce our PSA AK-P Gen3 Hammer Forged (GF3) pistol with a hammer forged bolt, carrier, and front trunnion.
The 4150 barrel is nitride treated for accuracy and durability and is pressed into a new hammer forged front trunnion to ensure the longevity AK-47s are known for. The hardened steel 1mm receiver features a mil-spec style single hook trigger, and side rail mount. The front trunnion and bolt carrier are engraved with GF3 to designate the GF3 hammer forged model. The pistol is finished with a Magpul polymer handguard, SB Tactical SBA3 Pistol Brace, and Magpul AK-47 polymer grip; Pistol ships with 30 round magazine (where allowed by law).
Picatinny Top Railed, Hinged Dust Cover
The top Picatinny railed dust cover was designed so most common low mount red dot optics will co-witness with the front and rear sight. High mount red dot optics will not co-witness with the AK-P sights. Please see pictures below: (Optics shown on pictures is for references only; not included). The Picatinny dust cover has a flare on the right side designed to stop the safety selector from riding above the dust cover.
M4 Stock Adapter With SBA3 Adjustable Brace (Included With This Model)
The included M4 adapter with SBA3 can be removed and replaced with the soon to be released triangle side folding brace and mounting mechanism. They are designed to be interchangeable. We will be selling the M4 with SBA3 assembly and the Triangle with mounting device separately to be used on other firearms in the coming months. We will have the triangle side-folder brace/ mounting mechanism model in about 2-3 months.
Pistols must be shipped to a valid, current Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL). Please have the shipping address of your preferred FFL before placing your order. 2 years agoRiveting looks good, finish is great, grips and stock are very nice and well fit. I've only put around 300 rounds through it so far but no failures/jams of any kind, accuracy is great, no weird bolt/bolt-carrier wear (def should not be at only 300 rounds) and overall I'm very pleased, seems like a solid unit.

2 years agoThis weapon has now been promoted to home security detail. Took it to the range for the first time today, just to get it on paper. Well let me tell you it took three shots to get her rung in at 50 yards. Tigger was awesome. This is an all around superbly made firearm. Shot 122 grain TulAmmo steel cased ammunition and she ate it like it was her last supper. Only changes I really made was to the stock. This is only one of two that will remain on duty in my house full time. The rest are relegated to the safes. Outstanding job PSA, you guys should get a freaking medal.

2 years agoMy akp will have to return to palmetto due to it blow gasses out of the action and dust cover. The gun was painful to shoot from the particle blowing out of the action. The gun looked like it shot thousands of rounds after less than 20. I was baffled took it home and looked over everything and could find nothing wrong. Than I had the idea of maybe it's the booster muzzle device. So I head back out to the range and shoot it with out it. It shot slightly better but you needed your face covered

2 years agoOne of the best firearms I have shot. Smooth, accurate, and lightweight. If you’re looking for an AK this is the one to buy. You won’t be disappointed.

2 years agoThis gun is awesome! Only thing I would change would be a magpul rubber grip instead of plastic! But over all 5 star!

2 years agoPSA has done a great job here. If you’re thinking about an pistol AK, look no further. The purists out there love to hate on this thing because it’s not from from Eastern Europe, but from what I’ve seen your just stupid to spend more money just have to have what they call a “real AK.” The quality control is awesome on this and it goes bang every time like the platform is known for - I have roughly 200 rounds (golden tiger, tulammo) through it so far w/ no malfunctions. I’ve used Magpul, KCI,

2 years agoI love this pistol! I have a Century C39 AK rifle and have wanted a pistol for a while now. I’m glad I was able to snag one of these while they were in stock at PSA. The quality of this firearm is awesome and it is super fun to shoot! If you’ve been debating about buying one of these just stop and go ahead and get it. I personally feel like you won’t be disappointed!

2 years agoLove this SBA-3.. sight it in and is dead on the money everytime I squeeze the trigger. Mounted a Romeo 5 red dot on the picatnnny cover and it cowitness with the iron sights. gun handles very well and smooth shooting. I can easily engage off hand on target at 100 yds .. and everything closer is no issues! the AK-P is very well made... defeintly better made than any of my Rommanian SAR-1 and SAR2 .. only my Chinese and Bulgy are better made than this.. well donr Palmetto

2 years agoI am really glad I purchased this firearm. My only complaint is the ejection paddle is too small to use a fresh mag to eject the old one

2 years agoI absolutely love this gun. Just like all AK platforms it is super easy to modify. It looks awesome and it feels even better in the hand. It's also has a good balance. So I give it 10 thumbs-up.

2 years agoI've had my akp for about a year now. The one issue I still have with it is, failure to cycle. It seems the bolt carrier gets hung up on something. So every time I fire a round I have to push the bolt forward. I've looked it up and it seems an easy ish fix. But still annoying. Other than that I like it. I'll try and add a photo later.

2 years agoObviously I have made a few changes but none of the things I enjoy about this firearm are dependent on those changes. There is a simple, mechanically chunky; heft that I find enjoyable about the AK platform and caliber over other firearms - and this particular model turns that fun up to 11. Nothing against wood but I like that the furniture is modern which allows attachments, that it's solid and that I could customize it with dye. The top cover and every other aspect of the system are

2 years agoBeen wanting this for ever & finally saved my penny's & own this bad toy for big boy's. Loving it!!! But still my saiga still my favorite toy.

2 years agoGreat pistol! I love the FDE furniture on it. It’s such a smooth pistol. Out of the box, it worked great. I did remove the mini krink booster and got a Zenitco DTK-2 muzzle brake for it instead and it flattens it out so well! The trigger feels great for a standard ak trigger. The only two things I didn't like is that the front post had to be pushed 3/4 way in to the left to sight in the iron sights at 50yds. Is it an issue? Not really. I’m still getting good sub 3” groups with the irons but it

2 years agoBought it last year and just shot it today for the first time. Love it. Had issues with a mag that was not steel enforced. Everything else worked great.

1 year agoAwesome and very good quality AK-P, trigger mechanism is outstanding have not tested it yet but from range performance I would say it’s about 3-3.5 lbs. It absolutely deliverers that iconic 7.62X39mm performance with zero malfunction.
