The PSA AK-P GF3 is designed from the ground up to be a new standard in AK-47 pistols, utilizing all new precision manufactured parts. Thoroughly tested in development, we tortured tested to 10,000 rounds to ensure a quality product. Not to be satisfied with just a good AK-47, we kept improving and now are proud to announce our PSA AK-P Gen3 Hammer Forged (GF3) pistol with a hammer forged bolt, carrier, and front trunnion.
The 4150 barrel is nitride treated for accuracy and durability and is pressed into a new hammer forged front trunnion to ensure the longevity AK-47s are known for. The hardened steel 1mm receiver features a mil-spec style single hook trigger, and side rail mount. The front trunnion and bolt carrier are engraved with GF3 to designate the GF3 hammer-forged model. The pistol is finished with redwood upper/lower handguards and grip, Triangle Side Folding Brace, and a 30 round magazine (where allowed by law).
Picatinny Top Railed, Hinged Dust Cover
The top Picatinny railed dust cover was designed so most common low mount red dot optics will co-witness with the front and rear sight. High mount red dot optics will not co-witness with the AK-P sights. Please see pictures below: (Optics shown on pictures is for references only; not included). The Picatinny dust cover has a flare on the right side designed to stop the safety selector from riding above the dust cover.
PSA AK Picatinny Stock Adapter with Triangle Side Folding Brace
The PSA AK Picatinny Stock Adapter replaces the M4 stock adapter found in other PSA AK pistol models and allows for the Side Folding Brace to be securely attached to the rear of the firearm, giving it a unique look that is sure to impress. The Triangle Side Folding Brace is left side-folding and compatible with all platforms utilizing a PSA AK Picatinny Stock/Brace Adapter.

2 years agoTruly a sight for sore eyes! I opened the box at my FFL and this beauty blew me away.. (no pun intended). I did get the opportunity to run some mags through it not too long after purchase and am pleased to say that overall the the trigger in this is most definitely comparable to my more expensive Arsenal Ak. Additionally this thing does have better mag lockup, finish on metal, and smoother action/ safety actuation when compared to my Arsenal as well, but I will have to knock off a star because

2 years agoI've watched PSA's AK pistols and rifles come and go in and out of stock for about a year, and finally decided to go for it this month. First impressions after 500 rounds show that genuine time, effort, and money has been invested in to ensuring this rifle is assembled with absolutely stunning craftsmanship. The wood furniture is beautiful, the rivets sit flush in the receiver, and the hinged top cover is an excellent feature. The folding brace locks in place and doesn't budge.

2 years agoI was so nervous thinking about ordering this AK-P online. However, PSA made it soooo easy. I located a local PSA pre-approved dealer and the exchange was painless. I thought the AK-P was pretty online but when I opened the box I was stunned at how beautiful the weapon is! When I added the ComBloc bakelite magazine the entire Firearm shop oooohed and aaahed! The weapon is the best of all worlds; Russian solid design and superb American craftsmanship. Beauty is only metal

2 years agoRifle has not had a hang up in the 1,018 rounds I out through it. Tula 122g FMJ and HP. Ordering another 1,000 rounds of the bi-metal FMJ for outdoor use, and 1,000 of the new “range friendly” ammo Tula released. The iron sights came out of the box aligned perfectly. 650 of the rounds were with iron sights, 350 with a red dot, and 18 through an old hunting scope I’ve had for years. The picatinny top rail is very solid and has been helpful with using while brace is folded. The safety lever cannot

2 years agoAfter reading and watching reviews on the GF3 AK series, and the AK-P I decided to place my order for one. Palmetto State had it shipped to my FFL in under a week. Photos and video really don't do this little AK justice until you've seen one in person. Just a beautiful little AK, the fit and finish is spot on, and the red wood really makes it pop. I got complements from my FFL and everyone else who's seen it. The brace locks up nice and tight with very little wobble and no play at all in it.

2 years agomy riffle is not without issue, though it cycles 99% of the time, 0% of the time when it was new. i still give it 5 starts because palmetto offers to fix or replace it for free. but it started working decently right as i was going to ship it out. i recently got some slow motion video of it malfunctioning and it shows my bolt just barely goes back enough to cycle, you hold the AK upright it almost never fails on a banana mag. less luck with my drum mags and if i turn the gun to its side

2 years agoSo far so good. I'm hoping it lasts a very long time. I love the red wood and triangle setup. I may get a full size version next.

2 years agoI'm extremely pleased with this purchase. This AK-P is awesome. I like it even more that my PSA G3. Shoots very well, the recoil is very manageable, more than I expected. No failures so far with 1150 shots. It feels amazing and the looks is remarkable ????. Highly recommend PSA hitted out of the park with this one again

2 years agoThe AK-P has been a fun gun to shoot, the arm brace gives it a nice krinkov look. The Fit and Finish leaves some room for improvement. The front lower wood handguard was loose and not fitting flush with the metal retainer near the front sight post. Love the cherry wood, it's a nice color to compliment it. This pistol is quite finicky with magazines. PMAGs, Steel Surplus, and Bakelite mags all fit nice and tight in the AK with minimal wobble. My other mags such as the Bulgarian circle 10

2 years ago100 rounds so far no issues + rapid fire. The “brace” is polymer so i had some reservations but it seems very durable. The wood pistol grips are very slippery so i suggest switching those out or putting grip tape on them. The pistol grip was also loose when i got it but nothing tightening wont fix. My only criticisms are the pretty loose safety, slick wood, and non chrome lined barrel. But for a krinkov looking pistol this is an excellent value without having to pay 3-4k for a real krinkov plus an nfa tax stamp.

2 years agoI gotta give it to Palmetto, this this is nice. The finish is perfect. No sharp edges like you get with the draco. The wood is remarkable the pictures do it absolutely no justice, it looks like cherry wood in person. It also functions perfect as well. I litterly took it out of the box put a mag in and fired it no issues what so ever. And with palmettos lifetime warranty how can you go wrong. It's no wonder these sell as fast as they can make them.

2 years agoIt doesn't have the best fit for the money. If you want to try and pound the pieces where they should be it's a great rifle.

2 years agoKickass little AK. The brace is soft and bends because it's a pistol brace and not a solid stock but it makes do. Just bends the slightest when firing and goes back. No big deal. Better than paying for a tax stamp. Even fits in my drawer. Great quality. Wouldn't call it a novenske or an arsenal but way better than itzmash and century by a longshot.

2 years agoAbsolutely amazing. It was shipped within 12 hours of the order placed! Had it in hands in less than a week and I live half way across the country. Great quality wood too. Good job Palmetto State!

2 years agoMy wife bought me this a k for Christmas. I ended up swapping for a Bulgarian style compensator. And a CNC Warrior brace because I didn't like the one from the factory. But the gun runs fantastic, absolutely flawless !!!

2 years agoGreat AK Pistol, very accurate. If you plan on putting an Dead Air Wolverine PBS-1 Suppressor on this pistol, you’ll need to order the “Dead Air Wolverine Thread Insert - M24x1.5RH Thread Pitch: M24x1.5 RH -(AK74).

2 years agoPut around 400 rounds through it so far. No complaints at all. Very happy with this pistol. The brace I believe is an SB tactical triangle folder. I broke mine on accident, very easy to do as they are not rigid at all. I was expecting something more substantial for a brace but it was my own fault. Picked up a cnc warrior brace and now its perfect.

2 years agoI am very impressed with this "pistol". I have ran around 300 rds through it on two occasions. Zero malfunction of any kind. Furniture is beautiful. Almost to much so. I'm afraid to run it hard! Above everything else, I am getting 2"-3" groups at 100 yards. This with my crummy eyesight and irons, I'm very impressed. Keep it up PSA! PS- Would you please, PLEASE, make a PSL clone in 7.62X54r!

2 years agoThis is my third purchase from this beautiful company and I must say they have stepped there game up three times fold. I didn’t have to hone a thing. Fit is perfect and functionality is spot on. Even with the stock trigger no complaints. Two thumbs up. I’m stoked. Thank you.
