1 year agoI got mine two years ago, clean the barrel good twice a clean barrel to lay down copper is good. stand the rifle up loosen the action screws and torque them between 50-55 inch pounds, that is how I did mine and getting 1/2 - 3/4 with my hand loads velocity at 2,500 fps where most 308 shoot the best groups. 168 grain match kings, hunting ELD 168 2,500 penetrate deep and expand at 1,400fps and that is farther then I would want to shoot game. that load will kill with high shoulder shot elk deer bear at 700 yards doing 1418 fps, factory ammo would be much faster accuracy toss up.
