Remington 700 SPS Tactical .308 Win 20" Barrel 4-Rounds

Great shooting rifle. Only draw back is the molded stock will rub slightly when shooting with a bi-pod. It doesn't appear to noticeably affect the accuracy but on a free floating barrel, is not ideal. The trigger is crisp however I do not like the Allen screw adjustment design (hate the way it protrudes from the center of the trigger). All in all, I'm very impressed with this rifle.

The worst trigger Remington has ever put on there rifle (6lbs) and the adjustment doesn't help much without backing it out so far that it nearly falls out, otherwise I'd give 5-stars. Accuracy is great. Add a Timney trigger and you've got a top-notch rifle.

The fit and finish is excellent on this rifle. Trigger is less than desirable, but that is a easy fix. It is shooting a four shot group under a inch at hundred yards with 168gr. I am very happy with this purchase.

I was told a year ago, by another shop, that I would never be able to buy this rifle, so when they showed up on line I snapped one up. This is the ultimate in Tactical off-the-shelf precision; all the options and a bolt as smooth as silk.

Overall, I'm very pleased with my new 700 SPS Tactical with 20" barrel in 308 Win. Fitted with a Burris scope mounts, Weaver Rings and a Vortex Crossfire II on my first outing delivered right out of the box.
