1 year agoLove it. Just put in a Magpul Hunter stock with a detachable mag kit. Now to just mount a scope and bipod and tap the bolt for a new handle. Be making those 1000 yard shots soon. There was a small spot missing finish though. Definitely an issue that needs to be addressed before its an issue that needs to be addressed.

1 year agoI Gave it 5 stars because over all I think it is a good purchase. It is a good shooter as is but if you are looking for better accuracy, I recommend replacing the stock. I opted for the full bedded Hogue version as opposed to the pillar bedded. The Remington X mark pro trigger will also be replaced with a better one.

1 year agoThe rifle is fine. Its the platform i wanted for this project. I have limited time at the range so far but its working ok. The build is typical of older REMINGTONS, and the fit to my magpul is perfect. I love the matte finish; it appears durable. I WASN'T keen on the trigger so that was replaced with a triggertech special. Its a well done nice and simple bolt action that works.
