2 years agoGlad I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Tac-14, 20ga. It is Good Equipment, and will be very handy to have around, JUST IN CASE.

2 years agoI have a Mossberg Shockwave 12ga and love it. So when I saw this Remington 20 ga on sale I had to have it. A lot less recoil.

2 years agoExcellent firearm for in the vehicle! Pattern was 3 inches at 25 feet using #1 buck and only 6 inches using 7-1/2 shot! Much easier on the shooter than the 12 gauge!

2 years agoI almost age 75 so my concern was recoil and my arthritic hands. This gun was very comfortable to fire and I did not feel excessive recoil. That is the primary reason that I purchased it in 20 ga. In addition I had no problem hitting targets at 20-30 ft from the hip. Definitely a handy gun.

2 years agoGreat gun at a great price. Wish it held one more round like the mossberg and magazine and barrel were even.

2 years agoI bought this type of shot gun for home invasion protection. It’s small and compact and if I ever had to use it I surely wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of the deal.....

2 years agoThis is a great little piece. Just enough firepower for home defense, and compact enough for storage. Offered at a fair price.

2 years agoNice little shotgun, handy, standard 870 controls, dual action bars, and takes 2 3/4 and 3 inch shells. Would be nice if it came with an appropriate sling.

2 years agoOnly had the chance to run half a box of shells through it so far. But feeds and shoots fine. Great pattern at 15 yards with birdshot and surprisingly accurate with deer slugs. Can easily keep them on a life size target. I got the 20 gauge and recoil is not problem.

2 years agoCan’t say enough good things. It’s so compact and action is smooth. I waited on the 20 ga version because I like my teeth. It’s actually quite easy to aim with just the bead. I haven’t missed once. Since it’s only 4 plus 1 I got a side saddle. It’s no KSG capacity-wise, but I like the feel much better after owning both. Since it’s not a shotgun I believe you can put a vertical grip on it. I would recommend that. Would make it even easier to aim.

2 years agoThe Remington 870 TAC-14 20 gauge is easy to carry and easy to control. I use it primarily for rattlesnake elimination, but it make a great home defense gun, too.

2 years agoLove this Tac-14. The 20 gauge is smooth and controllable for follow up shots without ripping your thumb off. Took both a 12 gauge raptor along with the 20 gauge Tac-14 to family range day, by days end no 20 gauge Ammo left. 12 gauge might be what we have at the ready but the 20 gauge is much more fun to shoot.
