Remington Arms Firearms 783 300 Win Mag 24" Barrel 3 Rounds

This rifle is at an affordable price point but it shows when it comes to accuracy, we paired this rifle with a Leupold vx-freedom 4-12x40, bore sighted it and shot at 50 yards, moved the target out to 200 yards for a good zero and we struggled immensely to get it to shoot a consistent bullseye in a led sled and two different shooters, we were shooting Remington core lokt 180gr and federal premium 180gr, best we could get was about a 3-4” group. I haven’t had much experience with budget rifles

Bought one of these Rem. 783 as my first deer hunting rifle and could not be happier with the performance. I slapped a Burris scope on it and had it on paper and zeroed in 4 shots at 100yd and was shooting sub MOA in no time. Great starter rifle and awesome trigger for such a cheap rifle. It's easily on par with my Weatherby.
