I dropped 2 big hens this fall season with a single shot. Very manageable recoil. Didn't give it 5 stars because I feel the pattern beyond 30 yards is tighter in Federal and Winchester loads.

This shell has provided me great results with my Benelli Vinci & a Briley Turkey choke. My test patterns look great, and I have taken quite a few gobblers home with it the past few springs. I could spend a lot more money on shells and achieve no better results. In fact my test patterns would show spending money on high value shells does not always produce superior, or equal, results. Its all up to the gun, choke & shell combination.

This spring 2018 I went into the Turkey Woods of North Wisconsin with the 12ga Nitro Turkey rounds the same rounds I have used for years. This year they failed me. I brought a nice Gobbler within 25 yards, raised the barrel, aimed, and click. The round was a dud. The Tom gave a putt and off it ran. I can see missing the bird or doing something like moving and the bird running off, but when I have them dead to rights and the rounds fail. That to me is very upsetting. I took pictures of the failed round and now have it on my desk as a warning never to by these rounds again. .

This spring 2019 I went onto the edge of a field in South Jersey with the 12ga Nitro Turkey rounds the same rounds I have used for years. This year they failed me. I brought a nice Gobbler within 25 yards, put the bead on him, and click. The round did not fire. The Tom got nervous and ran off. I can see missing the bird or doing something like moving and the bird running off, but when I have them dead to rights and the rounds fail. That to me is very upsetting. I have it on video, but Cabela’s restricts posting YouTube links. I have never had a misfire from any type of turkey round except this one.

Yup, the title of this review is correct. Took my 11 year old son turkey hunting on youth day this past Saturday and he laid down almost a 50 yard shot on a bird and dropped him. I purchased the 20 gauge 3 inch Nitro Turkey Loads and to my utter dis-belief, he made a kill shot that far away with these. With a 20 gauge, that’s enough said. I’ll recommend these, and buy these every time. I’ve been buying the 12 gauge 3.5 inch for my turkey gun anyway

Patterns at least 80% of the load at 40 yards Does have a fair amount of recoil.I tried it against Federal and Winchester.Remington was superior.Unfortunately someone shot my turkey that I was calling in from public woods. It crossed some private ground.Next thing I heard was "Boom".

I have used Remington Nitro Turkey 12ga 3.5" #5s for the past 5yrs with success on every shot out to 50yds. So when I purchased 2 boxes this season (Spring 2020), I was shocked to find 15 out of the 20 shells to have "rattles" in them when shaken. I have read multiple reviews that state they are from bad to ok. I can't return these shells for a refund and my confidence level in them is not high. So I will not recommend them and will only give them 2 stars because they were good in the past.

I highly recommend these shells! The best turkey shells I have ever used. I use a 20 gauge and I am 3 for 3. Haven't missed or have had a gobbler get away wounded!

I read a review of some shells that rattle and so do mine 3.5inch 2 oz of 5 shot. Shot both my turkeys this year at 40 + yards and all head shots. these shells are awesome.

Not the most expensive but these shells shoot great and pattern well with my 870 Shotgun. Highly recommend. I have killed numerous turkeys with these shells and they don't cost a fortune.

I purchased these Turkey Loads because I saw a great price. When they arrived, there was powder all over the shells. When I opened, a couple of the shells were not sealed at the end and white powder and lead shot was scattered throughout the package. The brass on all the shells was not bright brass, but all discolored. I called Bass Pro and they immediately they sent out replacement order. The new order arrived and had the exact same issues, tips of some shells not sealed, white powder and lead shot escaped from a few of them through out the entire order. I cleaned each shell, threw out the ones that were leaking material from the tip. I hunted with the remaining ones and they worked fine.

Pair these with a good after market turkey choke and be ready to be amazed at the pattern density. I counted 150 pellets in a 10 inch circle at 40 yards with the 5 shot! Literally rolled my tom at 50 yards

Bought them online and they arrived with white pellets inside the box and a few shells has the seals broke and wads exposed

I used the same box for over 5 years of turkey hunting. Shot them anywhere for 15yds to the longest being 48 yds. On the 48yd shot only found 1 pellet in the breast meat. A great product and a great price, can not be beat.

Can’t be used because size is too long. Searched 3” Nitro, Cabela’s offered 3.5” Nitro. My poor eyesight did not notice .5 and after opening the outer box the two Nitro packages was delivered in out in my truck, Cabela’s policy is they will not accept it back.

I bought my Nitro Turkey for the price. #5. Target at 35 yards had dozens in kill zone using an old 870 pump with a Turkey choke. First Turkey was just under 40 yards and they worked like a champ. I’ll never buy more expensive shells again.

5 stars need i say more? Well that would not send because they require more words! Better price than most turkey loads. I challenge you. buy them and then first thing set up a target and shoot at it. you will see what i am talking about

These shells have always been a good choice for turkeys for me. Good distance and plenty of knock down power.

I have used 3 inch shell for Nitro Turkey for a few years. Bought a gun to shoot the 3.5 two years ago. Its a pump and kicks like a mule but these 3.5 shells knock them down hard!!
