2 years agoi get good accurate results with these in my mossberg 535. BUT, i get lots of misfires too. had 4 shells out of 15 that were bad.

2 years agonow i hunt deer and turkey and i know what a shotgun can do. but with this slug i hit dead on the bullseye at 50 yards. now i am going to try 80 yards. you should try it for this deer seson. its nice

1 year agoMy son and I shoot these from our Saiga 12 on an indoor range. Very accurate even with the Big Boy kick! Though some don't like it, lots of smoke, lots of noise, all the girls love the rapid fire vollies......

1 year agoI use this load (12 GA. 3") exclusively in my Remington 870 Tactical for IPSC style shoots & they are great. They are accurate, burn clean and don't load the bore up with lead like other brand slugs I used. Good load for home defense as well.

1 year agoThey performed as expected and each one hit the mark. Will continue to purchase for our hunting needs.

1 year agoWent out today with my smoothbore 870 express with the 2 3/4 slugs and had a 150 pound dressed deer came out of the woods at 60 yards. He worked his way to about 40-45 yards and Shot him above his neck going into his body. I followed up with a shot above and a little infront of his hind leg. Poor shots due to my shooting not the slugs. I nicked his lungs and he ran oly 10 yards and fell. layed there 30 seconds decided to get back up but roled over and died in 5 mins. Couldnt say enough about these slugs. why pay 10 bucks for a box slugs when you can have these and kill just as well.

1 year agoGreat slug. I cant find slugs anywhere else and can only find shot for the 16 at gander or online so after getting these in the middle of deer season after the 12 ga. fell apart I was pretty excited. they shoot great and group well.

1 year agoLess than 1" groups at 50 yards out of a H&R Pardner Pump 20 Gauge with 2 3/4" 5/8oz slug. I am using a 21" Vent Rib Barrel, Red Head IC Screw-In Choke Tube, and Tru Glo True Bead Universal FO Sight Set. I will not use nothing else. These have shot excelent in eveything else I have owned. They are not finnicky like other brands of forster style/fully rifled slugs. You will not be disappointed no matter what you shoot these through! Enough said!

1 year agoi doubt a could get a better round if i cast and loaded it myself. more accurate than i could shoot... has never failed to function for me.

1 year agoI bought 6 boxes of the 2-1/2 inch .410 slugs. They make for a nice option to have for personal defense outside of buckshot range. They work best from an 18.5 inch cylinder choke barrel, though they tend to be on the light side, velocity makes up for it. A good little anti-personnel load for 50-70 yards, it should also do well for medium size thin skinned game at closer ranges.

1 year agoGreat shells. Slug came out and went straight with out tumble. Fantastic price and allot of knock down power.

1 year agoDon't let the feet per second fool you, what it lacks in velocity it makes up for in accuracy, spot on at 50 yards and the ballistics chart is very accurate in what you can expect from this slug. This is probably the best rifled slug on the market, have tried Federal Power Shok and Winchester Super X, and admit that Super X is a great rifled slug, but I have the best accuracy at any yardage with plain old Remington Sluggers.

1 year agoExcellent, powerful and accurate! Good price, I will buy again, it shot perfect at 100 yards in my 11-87 I was pleased with how accurate the grouping was and blown away by the penetration...

1 year agoBought 10 boxes and can’t complain. Put them through my new 870 super mag turkey/predator with imp cyl choke and sighted in 2.75 inches high at 50 yards. Then went to 100 yards and they were 3.25 inches low which is a 6 inch spread. The box says 4.8 so I’d say pretty darn close to advertised since shooter error can be added due to shooting freehand at 50 yards and lead sled at 100 yards. These will due for deer season in the bush.

1 year agoI bought 3 boxes last week and used it in my cheap but new Maverick Model 88. No issues cycling. No jamming. Accurate on the 25 yard range using a 9" pie-plate target with a 28" smooth bore barrel, no chokes, no special sights, just the two beads on the barrel. First time using this shotgun with this Remington Slugger Rifled Slug Loads. The loads were Perfect. Cleaning and maintaining the shotgun is always a must after any kind of load shot with it.

1 year agoThis is the most accurate slug for my Winchester 1300 12 gauge. At 50 yards with no scope, these slugs will shoot within a 2" group. Winchester slugs were 5" off, I don't recommend those.

1 year agoLove these in my 16GA Browning A5. Unfortunately that gauge for these slugs doesn't appear on this site as I am typing. I sure hope that Cabela's gets more back in stock. Actually, I would like to see a wider selection of 16GA ammo in general.

1 year agoPurchased remington 410 slugs for my henry 410 so I could have some slugs for it. They performed well when fired at the range. Their down side, however, is their price. You only get 5 shells for $7 vs 25 shells for $15 with other brands. Not a good value for the money price wise. Especially compared to other brands that were finally able to get some shotgun slugs to the stores.

1 year agoI always use remington ammo wish price would come down grandkids go through a lot of rounds partridge hunting

1 year agoThese group better than any slug I've found. Consistent 3 inch groups at 80 yards in a relatively "cheap" smooth bore shotgun.
