Rock Island 1911 Rock Standard CS .45 ACP Pistol – 51429

For the money, an excellent 1911. The parkerization is even, the lockup is very tight, and the trigger feels smooth and crisp. The rubber grips are comfortable. The safety was a bit stiff at first, but after some manipulation it's getting easier. All in all, after an average break-in, this gun should give you years of awesome service.

Looks, feels, and runs better than I Initially expected. At this price it's a steal. Knowing what I know now, I'd probably pay more than what they're asking for for this firearm.

I would love to actually rate this gun but my wife took it and made it hers and she loves it , so Without shooting it i give it a 4 star just for making moma happy

A great little pistol that ran perfectly out of the box, quite accurate withing it's limitations of a 3.6" barrel, the fit and finish is tight, smooth, and even. the only things I will change is the front sights, the black sight disapppears with my aging sight. and the grip while quite functional, were changed for a set of bison bone grips that really pop on this pistol, overall very pleased with this purchase and would recommend.

Great gun for the price. I changed out the slide release to an extended one and changed the thumb safety as well

Exactly what I was looking for, disappears under my shirt with an IWB holster. All steel with a bull barrel which the latter surprised me. Really reduces muzzle rise from being sub compact size. SIG mags work great and fit flush, 7+1. Steel guns shoot straighter for me, and I came late to the 1911 game.

Quality build concealed weapon, armscor needs to manufacture expanded capacity magazines and custom ccw holsters for all semi automatics products.

This gun is fantastic! Cycles with light target loads as well as defense loads. Accurate and looks good! I couldn't be happier with this gun.

Handles great. Easily comes out of the holsters both open and concealed carry. Can I get mags from u guys. 150 rounds and no jam ups.

I wanted to love this 1911, but I don’t. The seven-round magazine is inadequate. (It would be a good idea for them to give buyers a second one.) The worst part about this .45 is that the shell casings often fly straight back, hitting you in the forehead or your eye protection. I heard and saw great things about the Rock Island 1911 .45, but I’m not as impressed as I thought (and hoped) I’d be.

I took the gun to the range and it has several failures to eject the cartridge. I will take it again and see how it works after several rounds and more use, but so far no good

Speedy shipping! Have so far put 350 rds error free through it! This pistol feels solid and shoots straight. Had the sights changed to assist my 65yr old eyes. Otherwise this is a very good quality shooter.

I like it very much. It hits what I aim at and functions properly. My only dislike is that it does not have the traditional barrel bushing like the original. But, it works.

I’ve had their full-size model that came with G10 grips and it has performed just as well as any of my Colts over the years. Excellent build and performance. I want a small one in this size for easier CC but the scalloping on the ejection port in the pic of this one looks funky, like it’s almost a manufacturing defect. Leery so I don’t know…

Definitely an inventory clearance item; there were traces of rust around the rear sight. Still shot very accurately right out of the box. I ordered my RIA August 11, 2023, and the price was nearly $200 cheaper. I guess timing is everything.
