2 years agoGreat pistol especially when you consider the price. Really one of the most if not the most reliable pistol I’ve fired. The only thing that keeps this from being a five star rating are solid black sights. White dot, fiber optic or nights sights will the first upgrade I make.

2 years agoA couple of issues. The Trigger is loose vertically in the frame, but pull and reset feel good. The Main Spring Housing was damaged when assembled. RIA took care of the MSH issue. pretty pleased with the overall fit and finish for the price. This 4 star rating is for the gun itself. I would have bought this somewhere else if it was possible.

2 years agoThe trigger pull is fantastic, fit and finish are far better than the price point would indicate. Came in a nice box that can be locked, came with one lock, one off label magazine, 2 spent rounds in an envelope indicating date of inspection and by whom. The manual has a nice blow up schematic of the gun and its parts. It also came with a flyer concerning mental health. The foam is typical egg crate not secured which makes replacing the foam with something you form fit a bit easier and much

2 years agoFirst of all this thing is a looker and with the upgrades at the price, it absolutely cannot be beat! I’ve put the first 100 rounds though it, multiple types of ammo, and no issues whatsoever. The reason for four stars is that it was shooting low right. I thought it was maybe just me so I used a laser bore sighter and the sights were indeed way off. After adjusting the sights, the front sight was almost all the way to the right with the rear sight almost all the way to the left. Eventually I

2 years agoVery nice. Extended slide lock/release is a great added feature. Textured grips feel nice and uhh grippy, however the thumb groove doesn't seat my thumb very well. Will likely switch them out. Haven't had a chance to put any rounds through yet, but so far I'm pleased.

2 years agoExcellent! Picked this up the other day and couldn't be happier with it. Took it to the range and fired 100 rounds of various ammo without a single malfunction. The finish is very nice, and everything feels tight. Will definitely be purchasing more from RIA.

2 years agoShoots really well right out of the box. First, 100 rounds of grouping were great. Love the way the pistol looks. Perfect weight.

2 years agoBest 1911 under 1000 dollars hands down!!! I have owned a Citadel 1911 for over three years and it has been great, also made by Armscor, the parent company of Rock Island!

2 years agoI have a Kimber Match 11 that I purchased for double the price I paid for my Rock Island Armory 1911 Creakote finish 45 acp. I fired 250 rounds through it last weekend and it was flawless. I'd sell my Kimber in a heart beat but would never part with my R.IA. 45acp. Would definitely recommend ????.

2 years agoAwesome 1911, at a great price. I enjoy shooting this pistol. It’s accurate and powerful. I highly recommend this 1911 for folks that are looking to to get one without breaking the bank.

2 years agoNice firearm by Rock Island. Appreciate the ambi safety since I'm lefty and the extended slide release is a nice touch. Additionally the front slide serrations add a cool factor. The cerakote gunmetal finish is icing on the cake. Only put maybe a 100 rounds thru it but so far so good. I own several RIA weapons and I plan on adding this to my CCW.

2 years agoBeautiful 1911 no malfunctions would pay extra for an extra magazine, and it would be awesome if there was just one white in the front sight

2 years agoThe gun looks as good as the ad. Finish quality is good. I haven't taken it to the range yet. I don't foresee any problems

2 years agoFor the price, it is a decently made 1911. Taken it apart already. Just changed the grips for a more two-toned look.

2 years agoThe RI 1911's are great for the price I would have gotten the stainless version but they were out of stock. I have had no problems with it so far and it looks and feels great.

2 years agoLove my RIA 1911 cambered in 45ACP. Gun shoots great and the recoil is low. Even had my 5ft girlfriend shooting it an KD she enjoys it too.

2 years agoVery nice firearm; good feel, smooth action, accurate at the distance I require (open sight -no optics) and beautiful finish. Great value!

2 years agoAs my first 1911, I have to say it’s been amazing, I’ve always wanted one, but never had the budget. RIA is far the best budget 1911 you can get with great quality, I would definitely recommend it!????
