most all my 1911's are armscor., i wasn't disappointed with the 3.1" at all, as with all armscor products i'm fimiliar with. Built well & strong.

I have two hundred rounds through my BBR 3.10 with no malfunctions using factory ball ammo or my 230 grain +P hand loads. I have had one failure to feed on the last round of Federal 230 grain HST +P. It was only due to a weak factory magazine spring. I replaced it with a Wolff extra power Para Ordnance 13 round spring and no more problems. The magazine still holds 10 rounds. What a great shooting gun for the size. It's amazing to get 10 +1 of God's caliber in such a small package that really is a fun shooter as well. I got the mag extension for the para warthog and it fits perfectly. Helps get the pinky on the gun for a firm hold. Only real issue I have with this gun is the front sight. with the ports/cuts blowing spent gases upwards, there is no way to paint it white/orange/red without it quickly being turned black. Not sure a fiber optic would work but the front sight is next to useless in low light situations. Love the gun and really enjoy shooting it.

It is very well built and parts are inter-changeable with Series 70 1911. Replaces the spring with 22lbs spring & guide rod, that softened the blow-back and very smooth action.

Super little power house of a gun. Easy to conceal on my 6'1" 215 lbs frame. No malfunctions Ball ammo or hollow points.
