The RIA series revolvers are perfect for both sportsmen and for shooters who lean more towards traditional precision, with low recoil of most 9mm cartridges, not to mention the moon clips on the 9mm which are a major feature. The design of the cartridge cylinder mounted in the tilting console plus the shock transition control from the console all the way to the frame will maintain the firearm’s minimum limits as much as possible. The cylinder rotation design also enables the cylinder to turn by the exact spacing distance, ensuring a safely adjusted barrel. Shooters are the guaranteed safety even if the cartridge is off the barrel, or if the cylinder are braked with impurities from shooting lead, coatless ammunition. The high strength steel guarantees a long life cycle for frequent shooting. This revolver is an ideal choice for sport shooters, and for personal defense.

1 year agoGreat Revolver at a Good price. very accurate. Close grouping at 15 meters on the first visit to the range. smooth trigger pull and low recoil. great quality product from rock island armory. recommend extra moon clips for faster reloading at range. two shipped with the revolver.

1 year agoGood quality. Bangs into my third finger every time I fire it. Maybe the grip is angled a little too close to the trigger guard. I will try to figure out if I can change my grip. Heavy trigger weight. I pulled off the grips and turned the screw that is supposed to lighten the trigger weight. I don’t have a scale to measure trigger weight, but it doesn’t feel any lighter.

1 year agoI Looked at many reviews on the internet before ordering my RIA AL9.0. Those that I saw were very positive. This pistol Lived up to the Praise that people gave it. The sight picture is fantastic with the orange blade in the front. The trigger is fully adequate - the double action is stiff but smooth and the single action is great. I was so impressed that I also perchased the RIA AL22m.0 as well. I am well satisfied with both.

1 year agoLove shooting this revolver. Tight groups( for me!) love the single action double action choice. Sits well in the hand, nice weight handles recoil well. Fun to shoot, no regrets about buying this gun.

1 year agoGood revolver. Despite what PSA's text says, this has an adjustable rear sight. The revolver is nicely made in the Czech Republic. Pleasant to shoot and no issues on my first range trip where I fired 70+ rounds. Uses moon clips to make it possible to eject empties. Two are provided with the gun. I would recommend to anyone looking for a revolver that fires 9mm ammo.

1 year agoGot what I was hoping to get. It is quite accurate in SA. DA pull is a bit heavy but I knew it would be. I just wanted a revolver that will shoot 9mm. I have lots of 9mm pistols so I have lots of 9mm ammo and I enjoy shooting it.

1 year agoFinally got a chance to shoot my AL9 today. I had access to Aguilla 115 gr FMJ, Federal 124 gr FMJ, and Hornady 135 gr Flextip. Without adjusting sights, and shooting at 10 yards, I ran 2 moonclips each of the 3 loads. The gun likes 115 gr the best, followed by 135 gr, and then 124 gr. Recoil is manageable, but after 3 more moonclips of 135 gr Flextips, I began to notice my knuckle of my middle finger hitting the back of the trigger guard, and my grip starting to shift from the rubber
