The TAC Standard full size introduces a full tactical rail. Like all Rock Island 1911s, this series is built with 4140 Ordnance steel and refined by our carefully managed hand fitting process. This pistol is chambered in 45 ACP with a 5 inches button rifled barrel supported by a full length guide rod and full dust cover. Includes a low-profile angled rear sight along with skeletonized hammer and trigger with adjustable over travel stop. The TAC Standard is finished with a tough parkerized matte coating and has durable polymer checkered grips. True to all Rock Island 1911s, the TAC Standard comes with a crisp, factory 4 to 6 lb trigger to give you a great experience right out of the box.

2 years agoVery tight fit between the slide and frame, smooth action, rough trigger and the finish is a little rough. Nice lazer engraving and an amazing magazine. The quality is much higher than shooting star mags. nice anti tilt follower and great bluing, tight spring and nice base pad. All around, for the price at grab a gun this is a must buy. Great weapon for a daily shooter, its no show piece but worth owning.

1 year agoNice handgun. since i'm retired, i take a lot of out of state trips. i keep my handgun in my laptop case, and is always near me when i travel a far.

1 year agoFeels and operates perfectly. Only change I will make is big dot sights. I dont like blacked out sights. Personal preference.
