1 year agoThe pistol was shipped and arrived faster than any other company i've done business with.Once the oil bath(removal) was complete i put 100 rounds through it using 5 different types, weights and brands of bullets. No malfunctions.Only complaint was the misrepresentation of the advertised grips. There must be a government official working in the process.

1 year agoAfter much research, I purchased this firearm for my wife. Grabagun had it to my FFL in three days. I was very impressed when I opened it. As I figured it is not as picture but as I wanted. It comes with VZ operator grips with the RIA logo small and on the left rear of the slide. In the box is one mag, two spent casings, manual, any warranty card. That's it. Stripped it, cleaned, and function tested it. Even more impressed. Aside from the grips, there is no plastic at all. Has a full … Read More

1 year agoOriginally I wanted a para p14 but then I saw this RIA and had to have it. I already have one RIA 1911 MS and found the quality to be better than my colt officers model. The quality and feel of the RIA 2011 hi cap 45 are awesome. How ever mine dosent look exactly like the gun in the pic. The grips are different and it dosent have The RIA banner down the slide just a small RIA logo near the rear, I think overall it looks cleaner and aesthetically better. Also got in it in around 7 days under the … Read More

1 year agoGood gun. No failures at all. Shoots smooth and recoil feels like shooting a 9mm because of the obsorbtion of the weight of the gun.

1 year agoBad comes with only one mag. I order 3 other 14 rounds mags so I feel better. Other than that the pistol is beautiful and shoots smoot not much kick. Nice pistol to carry. Love ???? my RIA 45

1 year agoGreat gun. Very controllable and even with the large grip to contain the double stack mag, it fits nice in your hand. Bonus, if you run out of ammo, which is doubtful at 13+1, you can beat the bad guys to death with this monster.

1 year agothe smoothest operating 1911 .45acp. I was told to expect a high quality product, but what i received was beyond my expectations. I'm very happy.

1 year agoGreat gun out of the box! I would give it 5 stars if it had 2 MAGAZINES instead of just 1. Nice trigger and sights!

1 year agoI am 1200 miles away from GAG. This hard to find firearm was at the door of my FFL in less than 2 business days after ordering. That is fantastic customer service. This pistol is advertised as a 4 - 6 lbs. trigger pull and it is at the high end of that, at 5.5, so A trigger job is in order but everything else is superb. Mags are hard to come buy so I have several 'notify me' requests out there.

1 year agoPistol functioned flawlessly. Feels good in your hand but you need big hands. The magazine that came with the gun took 14 rounds then i added one in the chamber!! The two-handed shooting style will take some good sessions at the range to get used to even if you're accomplished with a standard gov't model. Advice: If you can find after market magazines, test them before you buy 'cause it may take more muscle than you've got to stuff 13 rounds into them.

1 year agoFirst of all the shipping was fast. My favorite features are the trigger, brakes at 4.5 pounds, and the magazine capacity. The overall fit of the gun is fine. I need an outside of the waistband holster if anyone knows one. I am very satisfied with the gun for price.

1 year agoBuilt tough, very accurate, though i've a couple of jams on the last 3 to 4 rounds, I do believe is more of a mag problem. Overall is a good pistol.

1 year agoWorks great! a little bit of breaking in is, of course, neccessary but it is does not take much. sights are very easy to read & are quick to pick up. there are little isues with the finish & such, but that is cosmetic only. Well worth the price!

1 year agoI recently did diligent Search for double stack 1911 on multiple sites and even bid on lesser model of thIs gun with no pic rail and used before i found this one here. I COULD not be happier with losing said auction. And i coulD not be happier with my purchase from this site. They were lightning fast with shipping immediately after purchase and my gun arrived new and perfectly as stated. This 45 is hard to find and i love it and the easy reliable service grab a gun provided. Highly recommended

1 year agoWow! a Double stack .45 for less than $1k. First round of the box, hit the TGT dead center. Head shot for the body silhouette and another dead center shot. Color me impressed. This is my 6th RIA in my gun safe. I love it. It sure is heavy but what do you expect from a double stack metal gun? Cons: One mag. Seriously. One effin mag. Sad. Another con is the weight of the gun (but this can be a plus as well). I'm a large and strong man and this gun wore me out after 100+ rounds. I also … Read More

1 year agoall metal, heavy pistol. I enjoy the heft as it helps with muzzle climb. They have an impressive round count in the ds models. Decent price for the quality weapon you get. i own the 9mm and 10mm. When I learned they offered in a 45acp with a larger than usual capacity, I felt I had to complete the family.

1 year agoExcellent pistol and pretty damn sexy! The fit and finish is excellent recoil is noticeably lighter than a single stack, and it’s extremely accurate. Overall I’m extremely pleased with it. And guns.com did an awesome job getting it to me quickly.
