The VR80 12GA shotgun is unmatched. This gas-operated semi-automatic 12GA shotgun has an upper and lower receiver constructed from 7075 T6 aluminum. The VR80 offers familiar AR-15 ergonomics and controls, so you don’t need to re-train your mechanics when running 3 gun or out blasting targets. It’s magazine fed with 5+1 round capacity of 2 3/4″ and 3″ shells. Its capability and versatility make the VR80 a clear leader in semi-automatic mag fed shotguns for a fraction of the price.

1 year agoKicks like a mule with heavy loads. Needs to be broken in with a lot of shooting. Had to put a adjustable stock and good handgrip and ditch the thing it came with.

1 year agoI followed the break in procedure, and in total have put 500 rounds through it with no issues whatsoever. I replaced the grip and stock. Don't be like me and get a mil-spec stock because the buffer tube in this is commercial.

1 year agoThis thing is a beast. Got mine from Sportsman’s Guide during the pandemic, paid over $850 including shipping. Great price PSA!

1 year agoOnce you have the out-of-box VR80 you need to get: compensator, buttstock with a spring recoil damper, and a new pistol grip. Also an ambidextrous bolt handle wouldn't hurt. THEN you have something! I have mine tuned to put a magnum load of #1 Buck right at aimpoint at 25 yards. I don't like the 9-rd mags. Just 5 or 6 5-rd mags should be adequate for damn near anything.
