2 years agoBought my first 10/22 in 1983, still have it and just refurbished it at twice the cost of a new one. I own 3, and if you're new to the shooting sports this model is a no brainer... My rebuild was put back to new original condition after nearly 40 yrs and 40~ thousand rounds... My second rifle is a bull barrel target custom build. Bought this one for my grandson, package deal you can not go wrong with!!!

1 year agoLove the new 10/22. Only issue is the magazine sticks or hangs up inside the rifle at times. Hopefully after breaking it in more it will loosen up or I’ll have to buy after market.

1 year agoThis thing is a classic. The optics were much better than anticipated for such a great price point. Tight groups right from the start, the squirrels are in trouble.

1 year agoHave about 300 rounds through it on my first 2 visits to the range. Easy to sight in and so far only had 1 failure to cycle. Looking forward to having this for years to come.

1 year agoFun little rifle, great for gophers. Added on (2) 25 round mags, they are a must. Easy to shoot for everyone. Scope is great for a .22 and the hard case is an added bonus.

1 year agoLove this rifle/scope combo! The 10/22 is legendary for reliability and accuracy and the scope makes it 10 times better!

1 year agoBought this for a fun plinking gun, everyone loves shooting it. Will add a red dot at some point and some other upgrades, but for now the scope is fun to shoot with (we had Sportsman's zero it in at 50 yards before leaving the store). Added a couple 25-round magazines, highly recommend to maximize shooting time/minimize reloading time. Ours has performed flawlessly with certain ammo, and has not liked others... so experiment with ammo to find one it likes (before buying in bulk). Very pleased with purchase, fun gun for everyone to shoot, especially those new to shooting.

1 year agoGuys, this is a no brainer. You pay $379.99 for a Ruger 10/22, it includes Ruger-Branded Hard Case, and the Viridian EON 3-9x40 scope sells for $99 on amazon. If you are buying a Ruger 10/22 get this gun it's the best deal around for a Ruger. I purchased 2 of these and continue to love the Ruger 10/22 for its many features and reliability.

1 year agoReliable little gun, good for target practice (plinking) and learn the basics operating the scope. Run about 200 rounds through it with absolutely no problems (cheapest ammo). Recoil is almost inexistent (being a semi-auto), cycled flawlessly. Get a BX-25 magazine (cheaper if you get the 2 magazines package) with the capacity of 25 rounds and you can keep practicing. Lots of fun and easy to shoot. Check the scope (mine was off due to transport), just in case.

1 year agoYou can’t go wrong with this combo. I kept reading people saying “you need a Ruger 10/22” or “if you never had one, you must buy one” This was my first rifle purchase and now I realize how true the above statements were. Price of ammunition, (not 4c like it used to be, but still at 12c a pop, it’s cheaper than anything) Accuracy, easy to operate and clean, lack of any recoil, shooting out in the open there is no real need for ear protection and if one day you decide you want a different look, the aftermarket line of products will blow your mind away. There is a reason these sell fast.

1 year agoFun to shoot, get the banana clips from Ruger for the most enjoyment. Scope is fine for this type of rifle

1 year agoWas looking for a plinker, lots of choices, big decision. A semi auto was what i wanted. The 10/22 fit the bill. Ordering and delivery went smoothly. The package was as advertised. Nice looking rifle and scope. Off to the range. Put a few rounds down range. The rifle is awesome. Ate what ever i put in her. A glitch with the scope, couldnt get it to focus. Didnt matter the distance, just not clear. My groups were still pretty good. Lol. Reached out to Viridian and

1 year agoI own a few rifles and a good .22 has been on the list for a while. Everywhere I looked I saw nothing but love for the Ruger 10/22 and it 100% does not disappoint. I got this one because it comes with an optic that Ruger apparently feels is adequate…and as long as your not shooting in the dark it seems fine. You can always upgrade the optic anyway. This thing is so accurate. All I did was change the chassis and put a front grip that doubles as a bipod… and it is fast becoming one of my
