Cleaned it, ran 200 rounds through it without failure. Sights were low and left, way low and left. Put red dot on it . Ran another 200 rounds without failure.

First to buy at Palmetto State Armory when they first came in. The gun was probably accurate but I sucked at zeroing it in with iron sights. Didn't want to waste ammo to zero it in. Too expensive. Lol. Felt good in the grip. Installed Vortex sight but had to shave the mounting screws a bit cause it was digging into the slide. Maybe after corona I can take my time to sight in thoroughly. Lol.

I own an FNH Five Seven as well & this Ruger stacks up well. Actually has steel mags. Only 2 complaints: The trigger safety mechanism sucks & has actually hung on me a couple times. This is an issue that would prevent me from using this for self defense. The mags are good, but clunk around in the mag well when loaded into the pistol.

When ruger shipped me my gun back after they fix it i will come and rewrite my review. Super excited to have this gun, but sadly issues out of the box. Shot great but was damaging the brass mouth bending them inward. Then when i got home to clean it i pull back the slide pop and rotate the lockpin and.. the slide wont come off. They are paying for me to fedex to them to fix for free. hopefully i can come back and give it the 5 star review i wanted to give it.

Just can not shoot my Ruger-57 enough. If the ammo wasn't so dog on expensive I'd spend all day at the range.Love every aspect of this remarkable pistol.

Polymer frame makes for a lite pistol. Length of the 5.7 caliber round makes for a slightly longer grip, reminds me of the AMT in .30 Carbine. Fit and finish seem fine. I thought the Ruger LCR had the weirdest trigger until I experienced the Ruger 57. The trigger pull is unique but not hard to get used to. The trigger guard is well suited for use with gloves. The sights are functional, the fiber optic front sight is very easy to pick up. The ambidextrous safety is well placed for riding 1911 style. In early 2021 extra magazines are hard to come by.

The gun is fabulous and fun to shoot but I'm curious to know why are yall charging so much. I literally just bought one brand new less then a week ago here in South Carolina and paid $650.....

I own this little gem and I absolutely love it. It's the best pistol I've ever owned!! Very little recoil for a lite weight gun and it fits your hand like a tailor made glove!!

Ammo hard to find. Ammo expensive. Would be better with striker fire. Trigger needs updated. Lose the safety. Would like it if it was 7.5 mod.

Ok, I dont get people complaining about this gun at all. Grip is perfect for a weapon that holds 21 bullets that are fairly large, recoil is next to nothing, the price has dropped $200 since I bought it and Inam still happy. And if you dont know how to use an ammo search engine take a computer class or figure out how to use that phone thingy or google. I can find ammo in under 30 seconds from 20 vendors for reasonable prices.

All I can say is "SWEET" gun! No kick, accurate and fun! Only drawback is... AMMO! Hard to find and expensive when you do.

Very nice to shoot, fits my hand just right. I love the look of it, it’s not too heavy either. I am very happy with this purchase from Palmetto State Armory. Great customer service at PSA, always goes well.

Great weapon for both hunting and combat due to the mag capacity (20 rounds). Also, this particular caliber has a robust penetrating capability against a threat with body armor. The weapon is light and has very little recoil so you can stay on target. I highly recommend.

Just replaced my 1911 with this as a carry gun and i couldn't be happier, its far lighter even with 21 rounds vs 8, i love the way it shoots (no jams or issues during break in period). Accurate, low recoil, smooth operation and easy to break down and clean. Yes ammo is expensive but I'm old and don't mind paying for a lighter gun thats easier on my body to carry and shoot.

The only thing I can really complain about is the cost of ammo and finding a holster for it. It's a quality gun, it fires reliably. It's acurate and has a super easy abi thumb safety. I don't think it makes for a good carry gun. It's big, not heavy, but big, and the rounds aren't good for self defense as they tend to over pernitrate your targets. Very fun target gun though. Ammo right now is around $50 a box in my area at least.

Comfortable, nice feel in the hand. Seems well-balanced front to back, and the sights (green "light tube" fiber optic in front) are easy to see; having no dots or other distractions on the rear sight helps the front dot stand out. This is my first pistol with the "blade safety" system, and it's not obtrusive as I thought it might be. I wouldn't call this a "target trigger", but it certainly does the job well and without any fuss. I suspect it will smooth out even more with use. Gun

Mine is actually having a problem for some reason the piece that at the back of the chamber is stuck. I believe it is what assist the shell ejection? It’s jammed in ward ? Anyone have any ideas of how to fix or anyone else had this issue?

Jbennet that is your EXTRACTOR and their is a spring that moves it so you probably need a new EXTRACTOR SPRING!
