Haven't sighted this one in yet. I have an All American in .223 Rem and have deer hunted with it. I love it! I will be in an elk drawing this year and wanted something bigger for the elk. I really like the Ruger Americans. They are not expensive and they shoot good! Can't go wrong with one of these.

For the money, I don't see how you could ask for a better gun: fast handling and as accurate as any gun I own. I have the American in 270, 308 and 243 and I'm not done buying them!

Just got this gun and had a Vortex Diamondback 3.5-10x50 scope mounted on it. Hoping to use this for elk hunting in Colorado.

For a budget priced rifle this is great. The Ruger American does everything that I need for a hunting gun and it is very affordable.

Great shooter out of the box. It shot 3/4"moa @100 with federal fusion 130 grain with a bushnell 6-24×40 scope. Will recomend this rifle to anyone as a starting platform.

Great price. Good budget hunting rifle that shoots as well as a expensive gun. Action is a little noisy and stock feels cheap but it is really lightweight.

It's good for what it is, a budget rifle. I was shooting 1 MOA at 100 yards, having set the elevation to be zero at 200. Elevation was easier to set than windage but that could've been me or the scope. I was shooting off of a lead sled. I used 2 different brands of ammo, again budget. The Federal 130 gr shells would not feed into the chamber unless they came out of the magazine. I couldn't just drop one into the open action and push it into the chamber with the bold. The round would hang on the

it shoots very well and is well balanced. The action is smooth and strong. I might just buy another one.

Very solid shooting rifle. Would highly recommend to anyone that doesn’t want to break the bank on a high end rifle, this is very good for the money.

It is a great rifle, super fun to shoot, the range is amazing. I hit my first long range shot with this rifle, it is something I am still proud of.

wanted a Good Ol 270 for the collection and im happy with the buy. shooting right under 1-MOA with Hornady Precision Hunter 145gr ELDX and with a Leupold CDS not bad for a decent mid range gun that I can shoot reliably out to 700 yards 2 the first picture included the actual group size where I pulled on the 1st shot but the smaller group is the actual group

I was a first time buyer with Guns.com and I am very pleased with the person on the phone who answered my questions, as pleased with fast shipping of my rifle & case. I will use this company again and tell my friends.

Groupings aren't the greatest, shooting 150gr. Read that heavier rounds usually do better with this specific rifle, going to try 180gr and see how they group
