1 year agoThis is a great rifle for this price and the 6 CM is an awesome cartridge. I hand loaded three different bullets and several different powder loads. My worst group was MOA most of them were 1/2 MOA @ 100 yds. Moved out to 500 yds and all groups continued MOA or less.

1 year agoSportsmans found this for me when others did not. I need to work up a load to suit me for accuracy , but I wanted a 6mm Creedmoor that wasn't heavy.

1 year agoI bought this for my teen son to start hunting next year. I put on a cheap scope so that when he drops this, I wont be to upset Haha. The overall build quality is decent for a $500 rifle. The bolts a little stiff to chamber a round with and it feels like a slick cheap plastic stock.... BUT! When you pull the trigger on this, it shoots dead on, every shot, shot after shot! It out shoots my $3500 Weatherby / Vortex setup! It shoots so good, I sold my Weatherby last night and am buying another one

1 year agoGreat Gun. Looked everywhere online to purchase this gun. Sportsman’s was the only vendor that had it in stock. Fast shipping.

1 year ago6mm CM version. Loving the caliber. Bolt has a lot of play but I expected that. Locks in good and shoots tight groups with various factory ammo. Very pleased for the price.

1 year agoShoots great. My 6mm creed was hitting steel at 700 yards after 20 Shots. Total gun was 1200$. Can’t ask more for a budget mountain deer gun.

1 year agoI have no experience with other rifles, I used this Ruger for over a 100 rounds and I can say for my personal experience that works amazingly, I love this rifle

1 year agoEarly on the magazines are a little finicky. Other than that, you’d be hard-pressed to find a more accurate rifle out of the box for the price.

1 year agoBought one of these a few years back in 6 creed cause I couldn’t find a 243. This rifle has been one of my absolute favorites! This rifle will easily shoot with all the guns I have that cost 4-5 times more this one does. It is a really really well put together rig, cycles flawlessly and can honestly say will shoot 1/2 moa all day with my hand loads when I do my part. The only factory ammo I’ve put in it were 87 grain vmax from Hornady, grey box stuff, not sure the name. Even with that ammo it

1 year agoI have mine in an Oryx chassis and in benchrest shooting, it consistently produces 1/2 inch 5-shot groups. Much of this is due to the 6 Creedmoor cartridge itself, but this rifle is exceptional for the cost.

1 year agoRuger definitely put the money into the important things with this rifle. The barrel and the action. The stock is cheap but functional but there are a couple aftermarket options to remedy that. The trigger is great unless you are a discriminating trigger person who likes 1.5 pounders. It shoots extremely well after 8-10 break in rounds. Sub 1” group at 200 yds with Hornady black 105 bthp’s. Yes, you heard me right, thats half MOA accuracy! Amazing rifle for the money!
