Ruger’s American Rimfire rifle features a patent-pending Power Bedding integral bedding block system which positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel for outstanding accuracy. The cold hammer-forged barrel results in ultra-precise rifling which provides exceptional accuracy, longevity and easy cleaning. The American Rimfire rifle also has a Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger, tang safety, easy-to-use 10/22-style extended magazine release, and a 3/8″ rimfire scope base that is machined into the receiver, which is also drilled and tapped. Included is Williams’ fiber optic front sight and adjustable, “V” slot, folding-leaf rear and sling swivel studs. This Compact model has an 18″ blued threaded barrel, black synthetic stock with two short length of pull modules, and a detachable, flush-mounted 10/22 BX-1 10-round rotary magazine.

1 year agoWhen Ruger came out with the American Rimfire rifle, my first thought was "Why didn't they thread the barrel?" Ruger will teach you patience. Mated a Nikon Rimfire Prostaff 3-9x40 scope, and in less that 12 rounds I zeroed my rig. Then the icing on the cake; attaching my Sparrow 22 can, and I was giggling after every shot. 1 year agoRifle seems solid and well made. Bolt locks up tight, and trigger is great. Will test accuracy this weekend.I received my rifle only 6 business days from order. Upon opening the box I realized it was missing a stock module. Customer services recommended I contact Ruger, which I did and within 5 minutes problem was solved with module shipped ups that same day.
