Buy It !! Nice gun. Price is cheap. Quality made product. Nice weight with 12 rd magazine. Just a little off balance and heavy with the 17 rd magazine. Real heavy trigger pull. It is about 7.4 lbs. Too much for me. I will have to have it adjusted down. Mine came in a plastic case with padlock, extra magazine floor, two extra grip sets, two magazines, 12 and 17 rds. Straight shooter our of the box.

Picked this pistol up this morning and went right to the range. Shot about 40 rounds after just giving it a shot of Ballistol. Nice shooter, nice trigger, looks good, and fits good in the hand. I thought it might be too heavy, but actually doesn't seem any heavier than my other compacts. Free hand shooting at 50+ yards and I was hitting about a 6 inch group which is really good for me with a pistol.

Grabagun is by far the lowest I have seen for the Ruger American pistol. I have done my research on the gun and I like everything about the gun. It is a well made gun by Ruger and I feel privileged to own one. This will be my second gun I have purchased from Grabagun and I look forward to doing future business with them.

Very solid well built gun. As others have stated it is a little heavy but this makes it easier to shoot, very accurate. 200 rds with no problem. Glad I got this gun.

I shoot weekly at an indoor range and use this weapon for target practice often. In my box was two ten round mags and a seventeen round mag. Also has a speed loader, a couple of extra grips along with the safety lock and instructions. I really like the feel of this weapon, and the balance with a full mag is perfect. I like safety on a handgun and this one is in the right place when it is in you hand. Easy to flip to the ready when needed. Highly recommended. Buy it know.

This is my 1st gun purchase and I'm loving the American Compact. Easy to shoot, hold, and load and I'm learning a lot with it. I recommend not using steel bullets because it will jam. But I switched to brass and haven't had a problem since.

This may be the perfect pistol for me. Individual preference is a major factor in hand guns but this one is for me. I'm a lefty so the ambidextrous safety, slide stop, and mag release is great. The sights are better than the ones on my SR9. Its a heavy gun but I think that helps with the recoil. Simple design and seems indestructible. Great ergonomics, it fits my hand perfectly. I have about 1000 rounds through it and no trouble at all with 2 different brands of ammo. FMJ and JHP If you like a heavy, reliable gun I highly recommend this one. And its made in the U.S.A.

After doing a lot of research, I settled on this for a carry pistol. I already owned a Glock 19 that I could use, but this Ruger has a slightly shorter grip when loaded with the 12-round mag, so it’s easier for me to conceal than the Glock. I bought this because of the Ruger brand and the way it fit my hand. It shoots nice and has been reliable as far as FTE and FTF, but the slide isn't locking back after a mag is emptied now. I probably have a couple hundred rounds through it, and need to send it in now. I only give it a 4 star because I know Ruger will take care of it. Only other thing I'm not crazy about is the magazines fit kind of sloppy in the gun.

The American Ruger Compact 9mm feels good in my hand. Standard grip that is on the gun is perfect for me. I did try the other grips, but does give me that comfortable feel sort-to -speak. A bit heavy, but shoots straight. I really like this gun and would recommend it. I am very happy with this purchase

This pistol handles all Ammo very well. Aim small miss small. Easy Operations, slide, cleaning, and firing. I would recommend this pistol for small, medium, and large handed folks. I have not had any issues. Great carry gun.

Though some consider the weight a negative, i find that it helps with managing recoil. My only negative criticism of the gun is the grip extension of the 17R magazine. Instead of making it a solid part of the 17R magazine, ruger opted to use a SEPARATE spacer to fill in the gap.the problem, which i reported to ruger, is that the spacer doesn’T FIT FLUSH between the frame and the mag.THERE IS A 3/16” gap which is aesthetically unappealing and allows movement in the grip. Tried multiple spacers but all fit the same.

The SR9C is perfect for conceal & carry. Personally I like the safety it gives me a peace of mind and with a flick of the thumb and your set. Love it at the range shoots fantastic especially for a compact. Very happy with purchase!
