I’ve had the Predator in 6.5 Creedmoor for a year now. It consistently shoots sub MOA with both factory ammo and custom loads. I find it works best with 129 grain Hornady Whitetail rounds if you go with factory ammo. I’ve got a Vortex 4x12 crossfire 2 on top and this gun is a tack driver. Highly recommend and for the price it’s a very decent weapon!

I purchased this rifle online and had it delivered to my local store. Before buying, I asked everyone I trusted and they told me this rifle uses AICS magazines. The one shipped to me does not. Now, I have to purchase and install a factory adapter kit for about 35.00. Disgusted. Long time Ruger supporter, and Cabelas customer. No more. Done with both.

First time taking it to out to zero it. Tried 4 different factory loads. Three hit bulls at 100 Yds and the 4th was off less than a 1/2". Comfortable shooting, very manageable recoil. chambered in 308

I Bought the RAP a month ago. Chambered in 22-250. I have taken it out on a half dozen or so coyote hunts and have shot a good number of coyotes already. I Haven’t had any issues with it so far but being a Tikka fan (that’s what my other rifles are) I have to be honest I’m not a huge fan of the trigger on the Ruger. Maybe it will grow on me, time will tell. Other then that it seems to be a good rifle. I haven’t had any issues chambering or ejecting rounds like i have read in other posts.

I bought this in 6.5 a while ago and finally got to use it a few days ago to shoot a moose. 1 shot and it was all over. I have had it at the range and at 250 meters, it was center hits all day. My moose was only a 100 meters, but with 140 grain hornaday, it was all over.

Great rifle. Amazing accuracy. I’ve never been a fan of plastic stocks, but this one is greatly improved over the standard Ruger American.

We bought this gun last year and have been able to shoot it quite a bit. For the price, it’s more accurate than it should be. Not long ago, I shot cloverleaf at 100 yards with off-the-shelf ammo. The only thing I don’t like about it is the way it fits me. If you’re smaller, it might not be a good fit. You can watch our COMPLETE REVIEW on our YouTube channel to see all the details.

I have several Ruger American rifles. They are very accurate. The issue I have is the .308 rotary mags don't work. The .223 work great. Go with the Ranch & predator models that take A/R & AC mags and you will love it.

Bought one in 30-06 almost 2 years ago very accurate and reliable. Killed a big moose and a nice white tail so far. My only complaint is the cheap magazine failed after a few uses, Ruger replaced it with out issue but can almost guarantee it will fail again so I bought an extra one. It baffles me why Ruger would use such a poor quality magazine with a great quality firearm.

I bought a Ruger Americian in 3006 cal. A week ago I put a Bushnell Banner 4-12-40 and went out to site in today. The indoor range only went out 100 yards and I was hammering nails. What a great gun and the sales people the best. First time I was in that store.

Good rifle for what it costs. Accurate as well. Don’t expect to much and you won’t be disappointed. Stock is the biggest issue on this model. Flimsy plastic. I have already bought the one from Magpul to replace it. I bought it for a dedicated coyote gun.

I already had one of these chambered in .308 and it’s also a great rifle and it’s awesome that they make them in left hand. But this one is even better! Absolute tack driver right out of the box. It was shooting avg 3/4-1 MOA groups on my first range trip with factory ammo. Dialed up a couple hand loads and got it down to 1/2 - 3/4 MOA avg with some groups under 1/2. Could not be happier with this rifle.

Really disappointed, I made my daughter wait to buy her a left hand rifle. I bought a Ruger American because I bought one for her older sister and it’s extremely accurate. Unfortunately thus one is biggest piece of junk I ever bought. The gun won’t shoot in the same spot twice and I cannot get it any closer to zero than 6” left and 8” low. That’s after trying two sets of mounts and two scopes. I took it back to Sportsmans and they sent it back to Ruger. Huge disappointment!

Great gun. I would not get it chambered in 6.5 creedmoor if I had to do it over as it is difficult to find. Also the bolt action is not as smooth as I expected. Like the trigger.

My left-handed son purchased this rifle with his own money from his first job. He decided on a diamondback tactical 4-16X FFP and vortex medium rings. We are both pleasantly surprised by how accurate this rifle is. I like that the barrel is factory threaded. We added a TBAC CB muzzle brake to reduce the recoil on the light weight rifle, and also to shoot supressed. Adding the TBAC ultra-7 will cause a 2” change in POA, that I don’t normally see in heavier weight barrels. The only other upgrade

outstanding rifle for the money. mine is chambered in 6.5 creedmoor and is sub moa. recently took it to 1000 yards with vortex diamondback 6-24 x50. not sure there is a better rife for the money. only upgrade is a $15 trigger spring that lets you dial it down to 2lbs

I bought one of these 4 years ago in 6.5 Creedmoor. I recommend it highly. The stock is cheap. However, it shoots incredible groups. Took it out last week to get ready for the deer season, using Hornady Superformance Ammo with 120 Grain GMX bullets. Box says 3,050 fps for a 24 inch barrel. This is 22 inches so lets call it 3,000 fps. I shot two shot groups. with 5 minutes in between to make sure the barrel didn't heat up. The groups were 0.27, 0.46 and 0.15 inches apart. A more thorough

Only 3 complaints the left handed model is not available with the AI mag , the stock is too flimsy, and the safety is way to stiff and loud . Other than that love the trigger, accuracy, and ergonomics . Great buying experience and will definitely recommend
