Im sold on the ruger ranch. This gun is accurate using barnaul ammo. Ive got another in .223 and its super accurate also. Bolt action rifles with 20 round mags. Buy one.

I’ve fired 50 rounds of cheap Tula ammunition through the rifle. All rounds were fired from 50 yards using a 1.5-5 power scope set at 5X. One 3 shot group was 1/2”. I can’t complain about the accuracy. The trigger breaks cleanly and crisply, but is a little bit stiffer than I would like (4.5-5 pounds). Overall, I think the rifle is excellent and would recommend it.

American made, hammer.forged barrel that slings barnaul 124 grain rounds at around 1.5 MOa. Lightweight with standard 5/8x20 threaded barrel, this rifle is an excellent midrange bolt gun. Comes free floated. The only downside is mini 30 magazines are expensive compared to many of options. Put a lightweight 2.5-10 scope on there, maybe suppress it and its a super handy rifle ypu wont ever mind having with you.

Ive only put 50 rounds through mine but i really really like the rifle. Shopping with Grabagun is so easy!

wISH STOCK WERE WOOD. bOLT IS HARD TO WORK WITH SCOPE AND LOW MOUNT RINGS, ESPECIALLY FROM SHOULDER IN FIRING POSITION. nEED TO PRACTICE. gLAD TO HAVE. hARD TO FIND A BOLT RIFLE IN THIS CALIBER.

I am very impressed with this rifle. No issues at all. Runs Tula Steel ammo all day with no issues. Roughly 1.5 MOA from 300 yards. Highly recommend.

I purchased one RAR here, and two elsewhere in different calibers. The one from guns.com had no plastic bag around it, had the bolt installed, and a filthy bore. The other two I purchased were in plastic bags, bolts inside box with lock, and clean bores. I feel like I was sold some Internet Idiot's eval rifle or a return as New.

Rifle arrived about a week after I ordered it. Brand new and was in excellent shape. Very accurate rifle from 200 to 300 meters. Third firearm I've ordered from guns.com and my experience has been great each time. Awesome gun for plinking.

I wasn't certain if a 16" barrel would be accurate, but this gun is super accurate. I have hit my targets at 200 yards. That seems to be the limit, but my range is limited to 200 yards. The only negative is Magpul magazines do not work, but the Ruger mags work great.

Wonderful accuracy, shooting .5 MOA at 100 yards, 4 shots all touching at 100 yards, thrilled. Classic Ruger.

I bought this to use as a poor man's hunting and range rifle. The #1 factor driving this decision was current ammo prices and availability. It's a solid shooter, but don't expect to be winning any long-range competitions. This is not a problem for me because I was only planning on hunting hogs out to about a 100 yards, maybe some deer. The bolt is not the smoothest - it takes some finesse. It takes Mini-30 magazines so there are plenty of options. I topped it off with a inexpensive 3-9
