superb value in a "bottom feeder" rifle. out of the box, with only a simple tweak of the trigger to its lowest weight, it produces consistent negative moa groups at 100 yards with my handloads - but make sure NOT to cheap out on the glass!!! the trigger is smooth and crisp. no aftermarket stock available yet, but stiffening the forend and butt stock with rockite or bondo will probably help the consistency even more. great rifle, highly recommended, big kudos to ruger!

Happy with this rifle so far. Zeroed in at 100 yards with 3 shots. Groups of about 1" without hand-lapping the barrel. Great entry level rifle!

Really like the feel of this rifle. Excellent value for the money. Get you a scope and you are good to go.

So... This rifle is very nice with a slick action and a nice blued finish. If I had to point out it's weaknesses, I would say that the stock and magazine appear to be the weak links. I knew this going in to my purchase and rectified both problems by getting a magpul american hunter stock with AICS pattern mags. I WILL be buying more rugged products.\

Great low price. The rifle is of great quality for the money. I like that it came with full weaver style rail. The bolt is very smooth and the magazine fits well.

I get more votes of confidence in the Ruger than any other budget firearm. When I hurt my back & decided to look for something a little less harsh than the 308, I looked everywhere for one, and GaG was beating anyone else's offer by a mile.

Groupings aren't the greatest, shooting 150gr. Read that heavier rounds usually do better with this specific rifle, going to try 180gr and see how they group
