Bought this gun yesterday (29 September, 2018) and took it for a test run to sight in. Started at 50 yards then 100 then finally 200 yards. Took about 15 rounds to do all that. Scope seems like good quality (never owned a Vortex before). The two issues leading to only 4 stars were both related to manufacturing tolerances. First thing I found was that the bolt is sloppy, especially in the fully pulled back open position. Although it never "jambed up", it made for a less than smooth operation of the bolt. Secondly, if you have done the research, you will see that this gun comes with to different magazine options. I chose the 10 round "ar style" version. As taught for many years with shooting pistols and actual ar's, after inserting the magazine into the gun, I gave the bottom a tap to insure it was fully seated. This actually led to the magazine going too far up into the gun and not allowing the bolt to close. The magazine just needs to be inserted until it clicks. Not a major issue, just a learning curve when using this gun as opposed to my other guns.

Great rifle, very accurate! Feels very comfortable with little kick. If I had to say anything negative about this rifle would be the plastic magazine isn't the easiest thing to load or install in the magazine slot.

Out of the box its a consistent shooter even when hot. I can't recommend enough the MCARBO trigger spring and a magpul plastic bipod. Both make this gun shoot like a much more expensive rifle. I have not had even one jam or failure to eject even when moving the action slowly. Its not heavy but in 223 there isnt much kick still. I would recommend this gun to anyone.
