This Ruger American Rimfire is – just as the name suggests – a rimfired version of the popular American bolt-action rifle. The barrel is cold hammer-forged for durability and easy cleaning, while the free-floating design aids in accuracy. The tang safety is easily seen and engaged, and the receiver-mounted bolt release can be readily removed without pulling the trigger. The synthetic stock features grip surfaces for a secure grasp. Interchangeable stock modules offer comb height options for either scope or iron sight use.

1 year agoLove this little rifle! Got new scope sighted-in and really enjoy taking it to the range. i love the feel of it and the lightweight stock is super. good action on the bolt and like the location of the safety. the only issue is that the magazine does not fall when the release is pushed. i am hoping that it just has to be broken in further before it will drop without coaxing. very satisfied with purchase and of course, great service and price at GAG.

1 year agoI love this gun. Very, very hard to find but Grab a Gun had it IN STOCK AND IT WAS THE SMOOTHEST TRANSACTION EVER. I HAVE THIS SAME GUN IN .308 AS MY HUNTING RIFLE AND BOTH OF THESE GUNS ARE NAIL DRIVERS. LOVE IT! LOVE IT! THANKS

1 year agoGreat shooter straight out of the box. Will shoot key hole groups at 50 yards all day. Even with the ridiculous high prices on guns this one was worth it. Groundhogs beware!

1 year agoThe rifle showed up safe and on time. It has been used to build a custom chassis rifle, and looks a bit different now. Please see the attached photos. It appears to be a good solid rifle as all of my Rugers have been. I will be completing basic scope alignment soon and will get to the range with it as soon as weather permits. 1 year agoOnly thing I don’t like is you have to push mag release to get magazine in. Two hands. Other than that couldn’t be happier. Cheap but made solid. Shoots great.
