Standard models come with long length of pull modules, while compact models come with short length of pull modules. By simply removing the rear sling swivel stud, stock modules can be changed in seconds. All four stock modules are completely interchangeable across all models. Easy-to-use 10/22(R)-style extended magazine release provides smooth, no-fuss removal of flush-mounted magazine. Patent-pending Power Bedding(R) integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel for outstanding accuracy. Ruger Marksman Adjustable(TM) trigger offers a crisp release with a pull weight that is user adjustable between 3 and 5 pounds, allowing shooters to make that perfect shot. Features a visible, accessible and easy-to-actuate tang safety that provides instant security. Cold hammer-forged barrel results in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy, longevity and easy cleaning. A 3/8, rimfire scope base is machined into the receiver, which is also drilled and tapped for Weaver(R) #12 bases (not included). A 60 degree bolt provides ample scope clearance and the easy-to-use, receiver-mounted bolt release allows the bolt to be readily removed without requiring a pull of the trigger, a unique safety feature among rimfire, bolt-action rifles. Also includes: Williams(TM) fiber optic front sight and adjustable, V slot, folding-leaf rear sight; sling swivel studs.

2 years agoLove this rifle. It was almost dead on right out of the box, much better than my recent 10/22. The action is smooth and being a bolt action takes every kind of ammo I've ran through it, even some super cheap out of spec ammo I got. Sounds fantastic w/ my Sparrow on the end of it, and the sights clear the silencer. Wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

2 years agoThis is a great rifle for the money. I use it for NRA small bore silouette matches. I mounted a Nikon 4-9 scope on it. After thousands of rounds this riflle has never failed me. Note that this rifle comes with a built in dove tail mount, but you can also purchase Weaver mounts as well. Comes with an additional comb to use when using a scope.

2 years agoHave not shot it much but I like it, never had a nice 22 bolt action before, maybe a wood stock eventually.

2 years agoAccurate, reliable, and affordable. Bought the 18” threaded model and am very happy with it. If you could only have one rifle, this is it. Think about it!

1 year agoOutstanding! As a longtime Ruger 10/22 auto-loader owner I just wanted to get back to basics with a traditional bolt action rifle in .22. This also allows for various 22 LR loads, which may vary in power etc. This rifle is perfect. Accurate out of the box, with sights already dialed in at 35 yards, light enough to carry into the woods and it takes my traditional 10 round 10/22 magazines. Quick delivery, very happy with my choice.

1 year agoI just received the Ruger American Rimfire LRT, I am very happy with my initial inspection. Waiting for optics to arrive, then it’s off to the range!

1 year agoI really like this rifle. Look great, feels great, very accurate, but as many others have noted in reviews I didn't read before hand, the stock BX-1 magazine sticks inside the stock and is difficult to remove, and the last round ALWAYS will not load. There are sanding and filing solutions I've read about, and will be trying those, but it seems thi...Read More Read more about review stating Great rifle, but...

1 year agoNice rifle. Trigger doesn't adjust down as low as I would like it. Bolt action is smooth. Accuracy is nothing to write home about.

1 year agoAfter trying six different brands of ammo and finding the right brand. At 50 yards I was pleasantly pleased with the brand of choice. 3/8" groups. shot a 243/250 score and 19x's. Enough Said!
