Ruger AR 556 Magpul MOE AR-15 .223 / 5.56 NATO 16.1" Barrel 30Rd

Chose to buy my first AR instead of building one. Has a better feel And balance I think than a friend's economy built one, he agreed too. Cycled Winchester white box brass and wolf steel well. Can be a bit Difficult to get front take down pin back in after cleaning. Only minor gripe is that it arrived NIB with a few small scratched on the barrel. No big deal, probably would happen eventually anyway.

1. GAG is the way to go. I purchased this rifle on a Monday night and had it shipped to my nearest GAG in Coppell, Tx. I love the rifle. First time out, I put 60 rounds through it. 20 rounds 556 55gr, 20 rounds 556 62gr, and 20 rounds 223 55gr. Right out of the box, the rifle was spot on at 25 and 50 yards. No issues. Broke it down to clean when I got home. Really easy as a first time AR owner. Can’t go wrong with the Ruger. Can’t wait to add optics. GrabaGun was excellent to work with. From order to my FFL calling me for pickup. Highly recommend both the rifle and GaG.

Out the box it is awesome! Once you install your accessories it is immaculate. I put 250 rounds THROUGH without issue. Definitely top quality ruger ar556. Absolutely love it

This is my first AR-15 and I am very impressed. growing up on a cattle ranch I overlooked the .223 as just a VARMINT rifle. the steel sights are pretty accurate but look forward to getting optics. the recoil is a lot less than I expected and can be fired REPETITIVELY without discomfort. good fit and finish.

Great gun! Feels so tight and well made. The trigger is Deliberate but no creep or muSh. Nice rifle!!

Been a great first rifle, I've put about 800 rds thru it and I've not had a single issue. I've upgraded to a free float system and some hogue goodies but all internals are still stock and work without hesitation. Only issue I have observed is the buffer looks alittle beat up already but that's a cheap fix and one I may make anyway in the future. Well done Ruger????

I am so pleased in saying it is what i wanted and my wife retired military she IMMEDIATELY noticed how similar to the M4 and now we might need to PURCHASE another 1 it is everything that was said it is very comfortable handling,breakdown,etc. Customer service and shipping had it in 4 days very pleased.

I bought this weapon being it was stamped made in north Carolina and it had magpul hardware..(just plastic, but magpul is my favorite plastic) the weapon,I took my time breaking In shooting. 223. The weapon will not shoot with my other low cost ARs...Sw sporter2 much better poi at all ranges...I know ruger can make a straight shooting rifle being I have one in precision. 338 lapua...Good looking weapon, glad I bought it but bushmaster xm15,sporter2,sig tread will out shoot it.(I own all)

I love mine. I will never part with mine. I bought one back in 2017 before they were available with this Magpul furniture. I had actually converted mine to this configuration before they became available on the market. I had paid just over $500 for mine , but it's understandable that the price is what it is at this time we currently live in.

Nice rifle. Ive only put 100 rounds through it so far, but it has good accuracy, its very Lightweight, and although I HAVEN'T put mqny rounds through it, it Ran FLAWLESSLY. I would recoMmend.

Lightweight, accurate, ran flawlessly on it's first range trip, easy to manipulate controls, and attractive. Checked all my boxes for the price.

An excellent AR with nice features for the price! Added a vertical grip and SigSauer red-dot to this bad-boy and it's a wonderful range and home defense rifle now. BCG was a little rough and jammed on first few rounds out of the box but after lots of lube and about 150 rounds, it's running like a top.
