Features:
- Lower receiver is fitted with Magpul® MOE® grip and MOE SL® collapsible buttstock on a Mil-Spec buffer tube.
- Handguard is free-floated for accuracy and the slim, 15″ length provides enhanced ergonomics.
- Bolt is mil-spec 9310 and is machined and shot-peened for strength and durability.
- The Ruger® Elite 452® AR-Trigger is a two-stage trigger that offers a smooth, crisp, 4.5-pound trigger pull. It features a full-strength hammer spring for consistent primer ignition and a lightweight hammer that enables a faster lock time for improved accuracy.
- Magpul® M-LOK® accessory attachment slots along the 3:00, 6:00 and 9:00 positions with additional slots on the angled faces near the muzzle.
- Ruger® muzzle brake is a radial port design that significantly reduces felt recoil and muzzle movement. The threaded barrel allows for standard muzzle accessories to be installed.
- Cold hammer-forged 4140 chrome-moly steel barrel with ultra-precise rifling provides exceptional accuracy, longevity, and easy cleaning. The 1:8″ twist rate stabilizes bullets from 35 to 77 grains, and the 5.56 NATO chamber allows the use of both 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem. ammunition. M4 feed ramps provide improved reliability, and the matte black nitrided finish provides corrosion resistance.
- Made from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum forging, the flat top upper receiver includes a forward assist, dust cover and brass deflector.
- Bolt carrier and gas key have chrome-plated inside diameters to provide exceptional resistance to hot gases. The gas key is staked so that it will not loosen after extensive firing.
- Rifle-length gas system provides smoother operation and reduces felt recoil.

1 year agoBest value on a 556 semi auto available. along with the coolest looking cerakote american flag, the 18" barrel, magpul furniture and the 452 trigger there is not much else this gun needs. i put on my eotech 516 holographic sight and will add a b.a.d. lever and bipod mounting stud today. my ambi charging handle will be here next week. great balance and weight and almost no recoil. frog lube the bolt and go shoot! no stoppages of any kind for the first 3 mags (90 rounds). more shooting tomorrow after a good cleaning.

1 year agoI have the black one and i love the rifle. Ruger makes a fine ar-15 for a box rifle. Had to get the distressed flag and was not dissapointed.

1 year agoI am a avid Ruger collector. I have many Ruger firearms that I have owned over the last 30 years. This is the most dissapointing firearm I have ever owned. The american flag finish flakes off if you even look at it. Just unboxing it the paint was just falling off. The firearm is outstanding and I mounted a bipod and red dot and this thing will hit a bulls eye at 200 yards without any trouble. 1 year agoJust received the Ruger AR556 MPR, pleased with the decision to purchase this gun. Shot it for the first time and it was enjoyable , nice weight , nice trigger and very accurate after a few sight adjustments. This is gonna be fun!

1 year agoMy son has a Daniel Defense AR and recommended this Ruger for me. I got a green dot scope because of my 71 year old eyes. This gun is extremally well made and the trigger is amazing. Can't go wrong with this one!

1 year agoI am not an expert but I would say we got great value for our dollar. The AR looks great. Appears to be made well. My drawbacks would be only one Magazine. Although it is a 30 round mag it would cost next to nothing to include a second one. No front sight. I know most use a scope I prefer open sights. Just my preference.

1 year agoThis AR-15 is the best value around. Good components for the price, 18' barrel for longer range precision. nice trigger. Just needs some kind of optic/sight.
