This firearm is fantastic. It's a workhorse and will eat anything you put through it. The parkarized finish means that mud and dust aren't a problem.If it's good enough for the ARMY then it's good enough for me.

In my opinion, this is the best defensive shotgun on the market. The fact that the military employs it speaks for itself.

just got back from the gun range..put many rounds through this weapon..not a single problem,I used remington 2-3/4 1 oz slugs, federal high brass #4 buckshot & remington 00 buck..hardly any kick...I'm very impressed..this is now my home defense weapon. This is an excellent weapon. I trust it to keep me & my family safe !this is one of my guns that is not for sale !

This shotgun handles well. My only complaint is that it is supposed to hold 8 X 2 3/4 shells and my shotgun stops short by 1/2" from being able to do that. It's a minor quibble given that 7 shells will do the job. I have not tried fitting 3" shells yet to see if it stops short there too. GrabAGun handled the transaction with my FFL smoothly.

Holds (8) 2 3/4 shells in magazine. Heavy barrel, metal safety and trigger guard. Installing Magpul sga stock good addition. Installing Opsol mini clip allows reliable cycling of mini shells, capable of holding 13 to 14 mini shells in magazine. Cylinder bore takes bayonet. Find bead sight sufficient.

Very Very hap with this guy. Heav strong after A good bit of brake in its smooth as butter. The WEIGHT help low the felt reciol a good but but it might be a little hard for smaller PEOPLE to holD.

Mossberg's flagship...the ultimate evolution of the 500...if youre on the fence go for it you wont be disappointed...buy it!

I put this in my cart about 20 min ago and proceeded to look up a couple other items. Just went to check out and it's $100 more than it was 20 min ago. That's extremely disappointing, and kind of a price gouging scumbag move.

This is my second 590A1 (51660). It is such a fun and easy gun to shoot. Will also be handy for home defense.

The Mossberg 590A1 was shipped immediately and arrived at the FFL in excellent condition. The gun is amazing. High quality at a fair price level. Anxious to get out to put a few rounds through it!

The Mossberg 590A1 is a solid dependable shotgun. Bought mainly for home defense but have had it the range . No complaints as expected. Fast shipping and great service with the transfer at the local gun shop. 5 stars all the way around
