What a great gun, solid, built to last. Handles 38 like shooting a 22. Grabagun had the best price around. If you are thinking about getting one don’t hesitate, won’t regret it

Would recommend highly. I may purchase fingerless grips by Hogue because they are a bit smaller in diameter. Excellent price. One thing about Ruger's, they are easy to take down and deburr and buff internal parts to make buttery smooth. That being said, the action on the gun from the factory is very good. Perfect night stand gun or vehicle firearm where utmost power and reliability is a must. Last resort you could beat someone with it because it is a hefty firearm.

I have a Taurus 605 satin finish. Love it! However the GP100 3" and six shot does come in handy for self defense (CCW) or duty carry. Great product, at an affordable price from Grab-A-Gun, specially with the shoot now pay later program, easy and painless.! Kudos to the Grab A Gun team!

What a tank. Pros: indestructible, reliable, beautiful, and practical dry fire practice without any problems or damage to the firing pin. Single action trigger pull is outstanding and breaks nice and crisp. The double action pull has a tic at the very end right before the hammer falls that people like to hear and feel when shooting da and it does seem to help with knowing when that long da trigger pull will finally break. Cons: Stock hogue grips are uncomfortable. I'm 6' fairly normal … Read More

This handgun fits like a glove in the hand and thanks to GrabAGun I got it 100 bucks off compared to other online dealers. I was debating between the GP100 and a Smith and Wesson 586. Quality and price definitely falls in favor of Ruger when it comes to wheel guns nowadays. Shipping was quick and easy! Will definitely be buying from ya'll again. Thanks.

Solid revolver. Be aware, the finishing varies on these and mine came with a shallow rear sight notch and a long pawl that caused my cylinder hang up. Sent it to Ruger and they fixed both issues. While they were at it they polished the internals and smoothed out the trigger pull. It is now a five-star revolver.

It's a robust 357 Magnum revolver, nothing fancy but that's really all you need. A changed out to Altamont grips because the original ones felt awkward to me. Shipped fast ... Im in California so as of this review its still on the list of approved handguns.

This is my first revolver, and it performs wonderfully. 38 special is a mild 9mm type recoil and 357 is a big load, but easy to control. The 3in barrel is the perfect size in my opinion. Great piece of American steel. You will not regret having the gp100.

I've really been enjoying this revolver. It's of typical robust Ruger quality and not to mention the gun itself is quite aesthetically pleasing. The satin stainless finish is very nice. I would recommend this model to anyone looking for a 3" barrel .357 Magnum revolver.

The GP 100 is an excellent option to a 686 of which I also have it in a 3 inch and plus P or seven rounds. The GP is no bigger and I do prefer the heavier DA trigger pull. But the Smith will eject easier with ammo not being brass. If I had to choose one over the other I would take the Ruger, but I would miss the Smith. Sort of like having two children and one is (as usually the case the introvert and one the extrovert. You would not give up either. There are other particulars and I welcome questions.

The GP 100 is built solid. Fit and finish are very good. I ran a hundred rounds through it. 38's are mild. +P's are VERY ACCURATE. AND 357 are quite manageable, though the 158 gr soft points had a little bite to them. I'm overly pleased with this purchase. Grabagun is the best!

This is a really nice revolveR. Perhaps i just got lucky, but this partIcular Gun has the best trigger i’ve felt on a production GP100. These new guns also started shipping with an improved case that, I think, looks like it’s a Doskosil. Nice gun and the 3” barrel is a nice contrast to my other GP.

I'm a fan of Ruger Revolvers. They have decent double action triggers from the factory and can easily be tuned for exceptional and reliable double action pulls too. This one is no different. I took off points for the rear sight notch and the slightly offset cant towards the left. It doesn't effect accuracy, but AESTHETICS. Note this is a fixed sight revolver, mosr GP100's have an adjustable rear sight and the issue mine has is not one with adjustable rear sight models.

I love my Ruger GP100, 3 inch, .357 Magnum. My only complaint is the front sight - in a dark environment, it is extremely difficult to see. Also, since it is “pinned,” unlike the 4 inch and 6 inch GP100s, which have a “plunger,” it is a more difficult matter to change sights, if I could even find one which is compatible. I’ve thought about painting the front sight, but I would prefer simply replacing it with a high vis/tritium sight. A higher vis front sight would perfect this revolver.

Beautiful piece -- GP 100 with 3 inch barrel. I've been wanting a GP 100 for many years... when I saw it featured with a 3 inch barrel, I jumped on it. Sturdy, powerful.

Not for the faint of heart....or limp of wrist. I own the four inch barrel version. Firing six factory load .357 rounds will definitely make an impression on your shooting hand. This gun will spit out a 3 foot flame downrange...so if you miss the bad guy on the first shot you're likely to singe his eyebrows off. It will stop a raging Buick. This weapon is serious business...and will go BANG every time you pull the trigger...all six times. Ruger quality is second to none. I have
