The non-rotating, Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor is the most positive case extraction system ever invented, and features a fixed blade-type ejector that positively ejects the empty cases as the bolt is moved fully rearward.

1 year agoThis rifle is a BEAST!!!! I’m so glad I went with this rifle. This is one of the handiest rifles I’ve ever held. It’s extremely lite, very short and pulls up like a dream. The first time shooting this rifle I put 6 rounds into one ragged hole (where the bullseye used to be) at 30 yards using the factory peep sights. 1 year agoI have not shot the Ruger 450 Scout yet as I just received it today. What I can tell you is it arrived 8 days to MI and GAG informed me it would be 2 weeks at the outside. A+ Rifle was well packaged and arrived complete and in excellent shape. A+ Customer service was prompt, accurate and courteous. A+ As for the rifle she is a beauty. 1 year agoI waited three years to get mine. I a very pleased with the rifle. I have fired it a number of times, open sights , with a Vortex scout Scope. but, due to hunting on my property it is not fine tuned enough for me. I expect this to be the rifle I carry when out on the property by myself. I love the wood stock and the action is very smooth.
