Ruger LCP Max

The little Ruger fits in the pocket of my cargo shorts just fine. I can hike local trails and not freak out anyone because nobody knows I have a CCP or pistol!

Zero malfunctions. Lightweight, even loaded. Good grip even for my big hands. Wish it came with a non marring tool to remove the takedown pin (but a plastic automotive trim removal tool works in a pinch). Extra magazines are readily available, although pricey. It is NOT +P rated. It has my recommendation & I would buy another.

Very light and easy to carry, goes easily into a pocket and is not noticeable. Fires smooth and pretty accurate. Perfect gun for every day carry.

The pistol rides in a Kydex pocket holster and it disappears in the pocket. It is so small and light, even with 10 rounds, I forget I'm carrying it. I was a little concerned before I bought the pistol that the recoil might be an issue, but it isn't. I did spend a few bucks to buy after-market pinky extensions for the magazines that are only slightly longer than the Ruger extension and the pistol is even more controllable to shoot; the sights are excellent, and the function is perfect. This is my CCW.

Man, this is a great pistol. Ruger got it right, and has produced a soft shooting, accurate, and fun pocket size wonder. The sites alone are worth the price of admission. 10+1 capacity is great with the supplied mag, but of I ordered a couple of the 12 rounders from Ruger. Guns.com has a good price and are prompt with shipping.

It's perfect as a pocket pistol for easy concealment. The recoil is fairly mild. I use the extended floorplate on the magazine so that my little finger has something to grab on to. The front & rear sights are great and the trigger action is quite good.

I bought this pistol for my wife. I liked it so much I bought a second one for me. Convenient, fits in my pocket and is accurate

This is another winner for Ruger. I've been a big fan of the LCP II as well as Remington's RM380 for very small, but reasonably potent pocket pistols. This puppy carries real nice and, in my experience, works every time. Came DOA. First trigger pull, it went "pink" instead of the hammer snap. Slide stuck forward, gunsmith couldn't fix and said to call Ruger. Ruger gave me an RMA and emailed a fedex label. DDE Cerakote looks great! The Ruger itself is extremely compact and can easily fit in your front pocket without printing. Great for Defense. Presentation is top notch.

I would consider the Ruger LCP Max to be the perfect personal carry handgun. Since I have not fired it yet my only question is will it fire hollow point ammo without jamming.. Would guns.com comment on that?

very nice pistol, no misfires, and eventually accurate[ operator era], but if not use to trigger, it bites on firing . Called Ruger, no mods in the works. I understand Galloway has the trigger mod.

Mine jammed on the ejection on the fourth round. I would recommend prior to shooting, to teardown and lube.

I received my LCP MAX and so far it has exceded my expectations. It’s extremely easy to conceal and fits in a pocket with the included pocket holster pretty well. I prefer a dedicated IWB holster however. I’ve not shot it a ton yet, but the 150ish rounds so far have been 100% reliable, (Remington FMJ and Hornady Critical Defense). I thought my LCPII was tops. The MAX iwith 10 plus one capacity and improved sights is amazing. Concealment and firepower, this is it.
