The LCRx features a patented polymer fire control housing which holds all the fire control components in their proper dimensional relationships, reduces weight significantly and helps reduce recoil. Has an external hammer for single-action use. Its monolithic frame is made from 400 series stainless steel. High-strength stainless steel cylinder is extensively fluted (reducing weight) and features a PVD finish for excellent durability. Patented friction reducing cam is a next generation design in fire control systems that results in a smooth, non-stacking trigger pull.

1 year agoVery happy with this purchase and the fast service by GAG. Loading with moon clips is easier and faster than a speedloader. Go to speedbeez site and get some extra moon clips. Your time at the range will be all practice, no wasting time reloading. This is a great conceal carry gun. Ruger quality as always.

1 year agoSo far seems like a great tool. Have yet to get a t on the range but I’m very happy and impressed. One of my favorites to date. Like this little guy.

1 year agoI just purchased this gun, wanted the revolver (9 mm LCRX), and have not taken it to the range. But, I want to comment on Ruger's machining. I watched the Yankee Marshall on youtube and he titles his review fatal flaw. He references the lack of attention, by Ruger, on the finish work when machining this particular gun. My 9mm LCRX reflects his comments. I do notice edges that are lined up properly on the gun and it takes away from one's impression as it pertains to quality of the product. I … Read More

1 year agoFor what it is, I thoroughly recommend it. Just know what it is and why you're buying it. Every pro about it has a con, but I love it. Very light and easy to carry, with a good DA trigger. Better than a typical Smith, out of the box. S/A not as good as a typical Smith. Nasty kick compared to, for example an SP101, but much lighter to carry. Too short a sight radius for "target " use, of course. Less capacity than a similarly weight semi auto, but (debatably) easier to use, … Read More

1 year agoIt's a great light weight revolver. I love the fact that it is 9mm like the majority of my handguns. I carry it in a pocket holster, in the pocket of my jeans, with an extra moon clip of rounds in the coin pocket. I ordered it when it was $410 late on a Saturday night and had it early on Tuesday evening. I've never had a gun delivered that fast!

1 year agoVery good quality, very light! Love how light it is. Yea, it's snappy to shoot in 9mm but this could easily be a pocket pistol. The only thing to watch for is not all 9mm cases are the same. I bought some very cheap ammo (Remington) that the base of the cases rubbed against the frame making it very hard to rotate the cylinder, even impossible sometimes. I was pretty frustrated at first until I shot good ammo that functioned very smoothly. Having said that, this is a great little revolver … Read More

1 year agoI bought the original .357 Lcr when they first came out. It had an unbelievably heavy trigger and i quickly got rid of it. Thought I'd give the 9mm "x" version a try hoping for a lighter single action trigger. Much to my delight, both single and double action are outstanding. And the 9mm is very comfortable in this small light carry pistol. Quickly fell in love with it! Highly recommend it!

1 year agoThis LCR is amazingly accurate at the 7 yard mark. No issues. The moon clips work very well. I AM very happy with my choice. Recoil is mild.
