The Ruger Mark IV 22/45 features simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping and proper chamber to muzzle cleaning. A recessed button in the back of the frame allows the upper receiver to tilt up and off of the grip frame without the use of tools. Receiver is made of aerospace-grade aluminum and is ventilated, making the pistol extremely light. Comfortable, precision-molded polymer grip frame with a serrated frontstrap and checkered backstrap. Internal cylindrical bolt construction ensures permanent sight to barrel alignment and higher accuracy potential than conventional moving slide designs. Contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears allow for durable and reliable operation round after round. Ambidextrous manual safety positively locks the sear in the “SAFE” position when applied. Safety can be converted to left-side only with included washer.

2 years agoMy dad loves his gun... It has worked like a charm. It tried jamming up a couple times but after cleaning the gun he cleaned the clips as well and it was working smooth again.

2 years agoI really like this handgun. It is great looking and is great for shooting. Being a smaller caliber I can shoot more, especially with the higher prices of ammo these days. I was hesitant about spending the money, but now that I have it, I am very pleased with my purchase

2 years agoRuger MaRK IV Hunter is everything the U-Tubers say it is and more. The craftsmanship is excellent. This pistol is beautiful. Shoots accurately right out of the plastic padded case. Cleaning is crazy easy! Push button, remove barrel and slide out the bolt! I also have a Ruger GP-100 .357. Best brand ever!

1 year agoBeautiful gun. I had some issues with cheap ammo. It wouldn't always eject properly. My Ruger 10/22 didn't like the cheap ammo either. However, good ammo works great without any misfires. I have large hands and it fits me well, my teenage grandchildren can easily handle it easily as well. Very accurate and worth the wait if you like the stainless version.

1 year agoThis is a hefty pistol (stainless steel) that shoots straight. Easy to take down and clean. The V-notch rear sight is a bit tough to get used to initially, as the sight picture at different distances needed some experimentation, but more so because I am farsighted and have problems seeing these sights clearly. 1 year agoLost my other one in the fire it was a Mark three Hunter, this one is a lot easier to clean and shoots just as well I bought three other barrels for it a 10 inch and 5 inch gives me a lot of versatility
