The Ruger Mark IV Target .22LR Pistol was designed to fix a problem that has been frustrating shooters for decades. With it’s updated design the Mark IV now features a one-piece CNC machined grip frame that has a simple one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping and proper chamber to muzzle cleaning. The recessed button in the back of the frame allows the upper receiver to tilt up and off of the grip frame without the use of any tools. The Mark IV has an internal cylindrical bolt construction that ensures permanent sight to barrel alignment and higher accuracy potential than conventional moving-slide designs. Contoured ejection port and easy to grasp bolt ears allow for durable and reliable operation round after round. This gun also has an accurate sighting system that features an adjustable rear sight drilled and tapped receiver for weaver or Picatinny style rails.

Fantastic handgun. Trigger needed the volquartsen upgrade for sure. I also polished the bolt and internals of the upper receiver for reliability and overall smoother and quieter function when suppressed.

I bought this because cleaning the Mark III I owned was a major chore. This new Mark IV design is a huge improvement. The threaded barrel is a plus.

Well-made gun. Removed the right safety. Love the gun even if it’s a bit heavy. Eager to try it with my supressor.

Just purchased a MARK IV SS Target but haven't had the chance to take it to the range yet. I have disassembled it to see if cleaning would be as easy as claimed and just as I expected it is. Being an aerospace engineer in a machined parts company I can appreciate the high quality of this firearm. I purchased my first Ruger before I could drive over fifty years ago and have been thinking of purchasing another MARK IV Target so I'd have one for each hand

A BIT heavy, very accurate, and shoots extremely well, especially after a few upgrade (trigger is a great place to start)

Awesome .22. I also have a 22/45 and love them both. Nice that this kne comes with threaded BARREL already. Excellent for target practice or small game.

Very reliable, very accurate, very well weighted for assisting in shooting as accurate as possible. It lost a star because I’d like to see a red dot mount and the 1911 grip angle. Or at least fiber optic front sight. But I’m splitting hairs on that. I was still tickling 12x12 steal at 100 yards off hand as is. This and the other Ruger 22lr pistols are the only 22lr pistols I’d buy or suggest to anyone.

Accurate out of the box, beautiful finish, and well built. By far best 22 pistol I’ve ever bought. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for there next reliable side arm.

This is my second Ruger in the mark series. I have a Ruger Mark I with a 6 and 7/8 barrel that has served me over thirty years. I wanted this one because the easy field stripping. The gun is excellent if it is anything my Ruger Mark I, it will be around for a good long time.

Overall a 4.5+. I’m a little disappointed in the sight given the price of the gun. Although adjustable, it is the old style black on black so hard to see. There are plenty of contrasting options now. I plan on mounting a red dot anyway. It’s heavier than I imagined but that doesn’t detract. Shoots great out of the box. Easy to clean. Great grip wi...Read More Read more about review stating Mark 4 22/45 tactical

I just received my new Mark IV Standard from Guns.com. It was shipped to the range (FFL) where I am a member so I was able to try it out before I came home. The Mark IV was flawless right out of the box, ran 40 rounds through it without any issues. This model does not have adjustable sights, but the sights are spot on, the sights are more accurate...Read More Read more about review stating Mark IV Standard

Beautiful gun. It came in to my local shop within about 4 business days, and it looks great. Will definitely be purchasing more Rugers in the future, as well as through guns.com

It doesn't hold 22 rounds of 45. It doesn't hold 45 rounds of 22. I am almost 50 and have been shooting almost that long. I have been training friends up with it. No recoil. Minimal sound so earmuffs are optional. This an extremely accurate pistol that based on the Mark I-III should have the reliability your Grandpa expected.
