2 years agoI have had the rifle for a couple of weeks and really enjoy shooting it. Iron sights were dead on at 50 yards right out of the box. Installed a 3 x 9 Nikon Prostaff scope and sighted it in 1 inch high at 100 yards. Groups are between 1 1/2 and 2 inches. These could be improved with a better trigger. Pull is right at 5 lbs. I did install a lighter sear spring and eliminated the initial grittiness. There is no recoil to speak of and you can go through a lot of shells in a range session. … Read More

2 years agoGot it for $650 years ago and I love it. I don't know if I could justify $750 today for the same thing. The rear sight comes loose commonly but other than that it's perfect. The age old debate is AR vs Mini14, for the price you can probably get a "better" AR. You won't like that At as much as you would like this Mini14 though. Sorry.

2 years agoI’ve wanted a mini 14 for a while and finally picked one up from grabagun, the price was the best around and believe me I looked, ordered Sunday and was at my FFL Thursday in the north east. The rifle was in perfect condition and I went to the range right after picking it up and it shoots great. The mini14 is the only real choice for a semi auto 223/ 5.56 in NY as they are so restrictive in firearm ownership.

1 year agoI really love this rifle, but have had two issues WITH it. The trigger will fall out unless you tighten up the trigger guard. Instructions are available on YouTube and it worked. The OTHEr issue is that it throws brass a long way in every DIRECTION. Makes it a pain to collect brass for reloading.

1 year agoA beautiful and functional rifle, easy to aim, better than my AR-15. The ranch rifle came with two 5-round mags but i found twenty rounders recently. Shooting this mini was a pleasure with very little recoil and the peep sights were dialed in perfectly. Disassembly and cleaning was a breeze, reassembly took a couple more minutes but it will get easier with practice. Lastly, the Garand action was impressive and did its job with authority. Grab A Gun made all aspects of the transaction smooth and easy.

1 year agoI had to wait a while to catch one in stock but it was worth it. Great rifle. Shot great straight out of the box. I used GrabAGun as FFL and picked up the rifle in their Coppell, TX location. Quick and easy in-and-out with the pick up.

1 year agoGreat rifle. Only 110 rounds of .223 through it thus far, but no problems. Next up is to add an optic and try it again and confirm accuracy at longer ranges. The standard iron sights are hard to use, but I knew that when i ordered it.

1 year agoRuger makes a fine product and there was no disappointment in the fit and finish of the rifle. It performed flawlessly. Working with the folks at GrabAGun was a real pleasure. Shipment was fast and tracking info sent right away. I have recommended GrabAGun to others and will continue as long as their fine service continues.

1 year agoThis rifle has been on my wish list for some time now and I have finally made it part of my collection. Excellent looking wood furniture, a beautiful fire arm.

1 year agoAbsolutely love the rifle. Very low recoil. Like it’s big brother my M1A, it is a ‘tack driver’. Right out of the box I was getting very tight groups with no adjustment to the sights. I’m in search of an LPVO or prism optic to add. Nice scope rings and Picatinny rail are included for either option. Beautiful finish to the stock. Highly recommend this gun!

1 year agoWhat more can be said that is not already said about the mini 14 reliable, eats all ammo, and a solid shooter. Perfect for states that have RIDICULOUS configuration bans.

1 year agoVery well made and built to last a long time. I like the option of a scope mount Or scope rings. The only thing i don’t like is that the 30 round magazines are hard to find and expensive.

1 year agoThis rifle is more accurate than I was lead to believe. Will try soon with a scope I just got and see if it even gets better

1 year agoI purchased two mini-14's in 1978. I still have one as I gave one to my brother which he sold years later before he passed away. I am interested in the value and want a bipod to fit the one I have. Any suggestions?
