TEXAS SOUTHPAW
1 year agoFew note*1) 300 Blackout is a proven round in my hands. Perfect if you own a nice spread of land. Knock down power is better than a .223. To have if in a Semi Auto is very satisfying.2) I Like AR-15s but.....a sturdy ranch rifle with Garand style action and a piston all for under $800 made it easy to decide on the Mini Ranch.3) Weight: 6.7lbs. easy to carry and lighter than a lot of ARs.

1 year agoThis is a great little rifle, more powerful than 223/5.56 NATO but not the recoil of a 30 cal. I have used 300 blk to successfully hunt mid size game. Its also a fabulous bug out and home defense rifle.

1 year agoI modified my little Ruger with an Ultimak scout rail, a Nikon scout scope (lapped in UTG quick disconect rings), a Lantac Dragon muzzle break and Hogue over mold stock. The perfect set up!

1 year agoI have had several MINI 14 ,THIS IS THE BEST SHOOTER ,VERY ACURATE ,BUT THE QUALITY IS INFERIOR TO THE OLDER ONES ,HOWEVER ,I LIKE IT VERY MUCH AND WILL NOT HESITATE TO BUY ANOTHER ,HIGHLY RECOMEND IT

1 year agoexcellent rifle . once broke in I run several different reloads and some hornady factory subs 190 grain . it is by far the most accurate mini-14 rifle I have ever owned . the hornady's group right at 3/4 inch at 50 yds . ( you need to use a suppressor to make them cycle and my 110 grain barnes reloads group an honest 5 shot 1.5 inches at 100 yds . not bad for a factory rifle . I topped it off with a nikon -p 3x9 x 40 tactical with mrd reticle . I would recommend it to a friend .

1 year agoThis is a great rifle chambered in 300blk. The appearance nostalgic to me as a kid and the synthetic stock is nice. I added a scout rail and have enjoyed hunting even more with this rifle.

1 year agoThe mini 14 series firearms have been around for a " few" decades. Originally billed as the " most expensive plinker" due to the cost of ammo at the time, they have always been a blast to shoot, enjoy, deploy & grab for immediate use. I have a Gen 2 version & wanted to update with a new version. Very happy with my purchase ( price can always be better). It arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Appears just like the photo, with 2 mags, a basic sling, rings or a rail mount & a lock.

1 year agoWhat you would expect from ruger...#1quality firearms. It's short easy to maneuver in tight places and I like that it comes with several options for optic mounting. Would highly recommend this weapon to anyone.

1 year agoIt goes without saying ruger's mini-14 is a tried and true carbine, enjoying it in .300 blk. I'm keeping it in iron sights for military originality and upgraded the rear peep to tech-sight mini-200. GAG - Great pricing and speed.
