The Ruger Mini-14 Ranch rifle offers inherent accuracy and quick repeat shot capability which makes it the favorite of ranchers and outdoorsmen. Its Garand-style action with breechbolt locking system, is a fixed-piston gas system and self-cleaning which gives unparalleled reliability under harsh operating conditions. 1 year agoIt's a mini 14. There are thousands of them out there. I would have preferred stainless but blued works. Not as svelte as I remember but may be the stock. Overall a fun and handy rifle.

1 year agoI've waited a long while to purchase a mini-14. This is a great platform and feels like an old friend (like my garand). I've mounted a simple 3-9 scope with the supplied rings and the rifle shoots like a dream. the only ding i can mention is that the rifle only comes with 5 round mags. Yes it came with two, but 5 round magazines...come on.

1 year agoTHIS IS AN AWESOME WEAPON. ORDERING IT WAS EASY, AND THE PRICE WAS PHENOMINAL. EVERYONE LOVES THE WAAY IT LOOKS AND FEELS- NOT SO TACTICAL LOOKING AND NOT OLD STYLE WOOD EITHER. AGAIN THIS IS A GREAT WEAPON, THANKS GRAB A GUN!

1 year agoEnjoy it. Functions flawlessly…typical Ruger. Have only had the opportunity to run a couple hundred rounds through it and didn’t bench test it for accuracy. However, accuracy was reasonable, shooting off hand, at about 50 yards. Will have an opportunity to take to an indoor range in the near future to get a better idea of accuracy. But, I didn’t buy this for its tack driving qualities. Had one years ago and it was fun as hell to shoot and plink.
